History: Korvox was exiled from the Klingon Empire for an unknown crime five years ago. All records of the incident were sealed by the high council. Korvox joined Starfleet simply because he had nowhere else to go and was recently assigned to Discovery.
Personality traits:
Dry sense of humor
Intense sense of loyalty and honor.
Has a somewhat short fuse when certain subjects are brought up relating to his past.

Name: Tyn Th' etennos
Age 36
Species: Andorian male.
Skills: Training to be an infiltration specialist. Excellent shot with a phaser rifle.
History: Joined Starfleet at the age of 30 after his bondmates were killed during a confrontation with Nausicaan raiders who attacked the transport ship he and his bondmates were on. Tyn killed two of them with a knife after seeing his mates killed before the rest were driven off by the timely arrival of a federation starship. Although he passed his academy exams and was able to join Starfleet, his instructors noticed that he had an extremely volatile temper and suspect he has an intense hatred for Nausicaans in particular although he has never admitted it out loud.
Personality:
Somewhat cynical view of the galaxy in general.
Enjoys spending time in locked holosuits
Very volatile temper when provoked.
Somewhat standoffish.

Species: Orion female
Skills: Experienced lock-breaker. Excellent shot with a hand phaser. Very well versed in alien behaviors.
History: Not much is known of Orosith's past. What is known is she escaped from the Orion homeworld five years ago. Not very forthcoming about her past except what was necessary for her to serve aboard the Discovery.
Personality:
Very little sense of humor.
Does not like people who think she is a stereotypical Orion woman.

Biographical information

Personality:
Murphy is awkward, dorky, definitely a nerd, and dotes upon his duck, A slightly cantankerous mallard named Dennis.

Biography:
In his academy days, Ensign Murphy chose pilotry as a career after dropping Medical the first week of classes, much to his overbearing Mother's dismay. He literally showed up to class, saw a holo cadaver, fainted, and then right after he recovered, got up and changed his major right then and there.  It was during his Academy Finals week when he found Dennis the duck one day in the park and adopted him, much to the chagrin of basically everyone else. The duck stayed, however, and became his companion as he went into active duty as the secondary pilot/Navigator for the Shran and now the Discovery. He will forever be an Ensign.

Name: Tanar Forte Betiaka
Age: 161 years (born 2240)
Height: 6"
Biography: Born into a relatively high class family, Betaika like his two other brothers joins the Romulan military in 2262 (Age 22). Betaika was posted on the Romulan Bird-of-Prey Nekium, which was involved in one conflict with Kirk's enterprise. In 2273, age 33, Betiaka decided to enter the Romulan Medical Academy. In 2278, Betaika re-entered the Romulan fleet as a doctor. In 2306, Betaika was recruited into the Tal Shiar, serving with them until 2371 where after they failed their attack on the dominion he was discharged from service and became the chief medical officer of a bird of prey. This was much to his annoyance, having fallen from a very decorated career. Betaika, having met Dem, asked to exchange to USS Discovery in 2401.

Betaika has a kind hearted, gentle and humble personality, with occasional moments of headstrongness. He is however, quite closed and keeps his feelings and memories of traumatic events bottled down.
