Hiya

In addition to Discovery and Picard, CBS All Access will be releasing anther star trek show!
Strange New Worlds is a spin off of Discovery and will feature the Enterprise.
Captain Pike & his 'Number One' & Spock will be the main characters.

Here is an article about it which I will upload to our Facebook page if you want to comment on it there:

I had high hopes, but I've been burned one too many times. I can't say I'm convinced by Spock, but I did like Pike and Number One in their appearances in Discovery.

I agree with you about Spock.
I hate that they made him out to have 'mental crisis' in Season 2.
This Spock was too different from the original!

And also while I wouldn't want someone to impersonate the wonderful Nimoy, I do believe more effort should have been made in replicating the gravitas of his portrayal of Spock. Maybe we'll see a revised depiction; of course, Spock of 'The Cage' is much different to the Spock we know today; I can imagine something in the narrative will explain the differences.

I would have preferred that Discovery not have a Spock character.   They did not even try to emulate the Spock we know and love.  That's just my opinion though.

According to the panal discussion from Star Trek day,
this show is supposed to be a 'return' to what we have previous seen on star trek.
Episodic mission with some story arches - visiting new worlds and meeting new species/cultures
