"Captain, do you need my presence," the question was a good one, but he was thinking why you asking when you want to stay. It was the right thing to do. It could be the last time he will be on the bridge. He turned to look at the screen. It was going like being home. More to think on.

Alex frowned, peering over Ardyn's shoulder again at the sensor readings. "Mr.Addams might be of use on the station, Captain." He suggested, not recognizing the type of construction or markings on the hull. "He may be more familiar with non-federation systems than we are." Nudging Jaeger slightly so he could access her console, Alex targeted the sensors on what looked like a row of hatches along a station pylon which seemed to lead towards the core region.

"That looks like an airlock of some sort. We could take a shuttle with a docking module and open it from the outside, run some close-up environmental scans and knock on the door, incase anyone's home."

"At ease, crewman," T'Ra replied, stepping away from console to allow the fresh face to take up Ops. She seldom addressed people by rank, but at the moment there was too much to investigate without getting to the bottom of whatever this kid's name was. Her brow furrowed as she contemplated the additional information. "Are you saying we have two geese to chase now?" A goose chase... an odd choice of words for her, one of Evan's mannerisms rubbing off on her.

With a timid nod, the young Amish crewman took the ops console. He managed not to screw up big-time, as the Captain trusted him enough to take over the console even in this situation. He didn't know for sure what was going on, or why, but they were in red alert and the atmosphere seemed tense.
Jeb really didn't know how to feel, either. The trust he perceived the Vulcan captain as placing in him made him rather proud, the red flashing scared him, and the presence of the civilian just baffled him. He got to work taking over whatever duties were being done at the console before, which weren't all that much. It was just the sensors, really. Half the crew was also reading them, and now so was he.
A Vulcan ship, seemingly in distress, and a space station. Which were they going for? Both? They could be going for both, what with the ability to separate into not 2 but 3 independent vessels.
He'd just have to wait and see what they do and what he is ordered to do. Not much more was demanded of a newcomer, thankfully.

Don shot his brown eyes over at Wu. He nodded his head. "I do what I can to help you," he replied. He can feel the Starflieet suit on his body. The past was upon him. It was nipping his heel. Re-join Starfleet you have no where else to go.
