Don't worry Malcolm, I'm not copying what Ian and Addam's posted. I just simply thought that there really is a large part of the ship unaccounted for and that is the cargo bays and shuttle bay, nothing has to be moved apart from the cargo jettisoned and the shuttles being left behind. Shuttles can be rebuilt.
I have removed my last post anyway; 1, because that is how it may be perceived and 2, I didn't like it, back to the drawing board.

I totally agree. My character is focused on saving lives, not the logistics of tearing the flagship apart. He's a Christian, not a shipwright.
