That is certainly true, Descant said with humor and feeling as she followed Slate down the new path.

She considered his words before responding, Humans seem to be highly adaptable, and I know that many greatly appreciate the outdoors. Perhaps not to the extent that we do. Descant's tail looped. But the group that came with us to Sivao did quite well, most of them. I'm sure our mix of 'primitive' living while still using some elements of advanced technology was shocking to some.
