[Lex Costa - Private Quarters]

The longer he looked at her, the warmer her cheeks felt. The intensity of the stare and the moment was pulling a very unusual reaction from her. Costa wasn't normally one to blush, in fact she probably wouldn't be able to tell you the last time she did. People who lived life for the instant gratification in any moment did not typically have self-conscious responses to anything.

But while they locked eyes and when he spoke about how lucky they'd been, she could feel the urge to examine herself a little deeper. If she'd been alone she might have hidden from it, but the fact that Cooper was there with her, so close, and seemingly so keen for them both to feel better, she decided to lean into the new.

As he leaned forward, so did she. Her hands moved from his shoulders to the sides of his neck, before stopping on his cheeks to cup his face as she returned the slower, but somehow, still intensely hot kiss. A soft moan escaped her, which turned into a bit of a whimper when he pulled away.  "Tease..." She admonished playfully with a laugh when he slid downward, effectively pulling her on top of him.

"Am hard ta keep in one place," she warned, though she was enjoying the closeness and the heat he was emitting, and had no intention of going anywhere. "Whatya have in mind?" She closed the distance between their mouths again, playfully nipping at his lower lip.

[Costasplace NPC Cooper]
This time she didn't have to manouver her way out of a bad situation. It seemed like Costa genuinely enjoyed his company. At least for now and Brody wasn't about to complain. He seized the moment.
Feeling her hands on his neck and her teeth nibble his lip felt almost as intoxicating as the shot and booze.
For a moment he closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling but at the same moment he felt a deep need.
His hips rocked up a little against her body before he let his fingertips slip under the bottom of her soft cami top and let them wander upwards, which was hard because she was on top of him and made his elbow hurt. So he decided to let them slip around her back and massage it gently.
Then he cupped her bottom and squeezed playfully

When he squeezed, her body automatically responded by grinding harder into his, and she bit down on his bottom lip just a little more. She was, however, still quite conscious of his injury, even if he had said it didn't pain him. His hands stroked the smooth, warm skin of her back and she sat up a little, giving him a quick kiss before pulling away.

She reached back and covered his hands with her own, then tugged them away. She slid back off his lap and stood, but one hand was still loosely gripping his. "Come with me?" She asked, the question evident in her low, soft tone. Costa stepped backwards then and grabbing the hem of her top, pulled it up and over her head. Hair tousled, she held an arm out and dropped her top, letting it fall to the floor. Then she quirked a grin and started to move toward the bedroom.

She was undoing the buttons on her leggings as she moved, and bit by bit, item by item, she removed everything, leaving a trail of clothes leading to her room.

[Costas quarters Ncp Cooper]

Costa was calmer and gentler than before. Ahe was also less desperate to hide her theft and more genuine.

When she got up, Brody followed her without objection.
He admired her slender figure and well rounded butt long enough to run into the coffee table but that didn't keep him from following.

"Coming...." He laughed a little embarassed but soon was preoccupied with studying her  naked back.

On cue he followed her to the bedroom where he leaned his shoulder against the door frame to watch. "Gorgeous." He commented and then did as she did before.
First his half shirt, then his pants and finally boxers hit the floor in a nice heap. Usually he would have picked it up but he felt like she wouldn't appreciate it.
In his birth suit he suddenly felt a little exposed, so he did his best to walk over to her in a cool walk.
But it was already obvious how attracted he was to her.
A little unbalanced Brody joined Costa on her bed. He knew it was better to shut up now. Girls never liked a lot of chatter. They wanted to see actions, which he was happy with.

She'd heard the thump of him banging off the coffee table behind her, but her only reaction was a slight smirk. He seemed to enjoy the sight when he arrived at her bedroom, even going as far as calling it 'gorgeous'. She sat on the edge of her bed and watched him for a few moments in turn, silently appreciating the view herself as he approached her. He might have been unbalanced on his feet in that moment, but that never mattered when you were lying down.

~~~
Costa leaned forward, unable to hold herself up any longer. She buried her face in the side of Cooper's neck as she tried to regain her breath, the sheen of sweat covering her caramel-coloured skin physical proof of the toll twice in two hours could take on a body.
She stayed there, above him, pressed against him, for several long minutes while her heart calmed and her breath steadied. "If suicide missions dun finish me off, spendin' time wit you migh'." She grinned against him, then playfully bit his shoulder.
Eventually she moved off and away, lying on her back and staring up at the ceiling, a sigh of contentment leaving her.
[Costas place Npc Cooper]
Brody had never really been a ladies man or the adventurous type in his younger years thanks to a lack of confidence and unusual interest in science. He was only just discovering how much fun the right kind of girls could be.
Not many were as sensual and as active as Costa. She certainly knew her way around a guys....and how to get what she needed.
Feeling her weight on top of him was nice because he could feel every breath she took and enjoy the aftermath. It made breathing freely hard though.
Brody let his free hand rest on the small of her back but he could tell that the hypo was slowly starting to wear off.
Thanks to Costas efforts he was as comfortable as possible, sprawled out in his birth suit with her as his blanket.
"Yeah, I was wondering whether you want to fu#& me back to sickbay."
A sly grin played on his lips as he let his finger draw circles on her skin.
He allowed himself to close his eyes and drift off to sleep.
Costa's shoulders shook with laughter at Cooper's comment, her own smile turning into a smirk. "Worse ways ta go," she pointed out, still grinning into his shoulder. When his breathing began to even out, suggesting he was dozing off, she knew she wouldn't be too far behind him.
And when she slept, she dreamed.
Some elements of the dream were familiar, others were new. She was on the Presto squeezing through the crawlspaces in Engineering, hiding from her father. Then she saw her mother; dying on that hospital biobed. Then, something new. She was in the cockpit of that fighter, and in her sights was a Breen warship. She was whooping with a crazed kind of joy as she rolled into the giant craft, her fingers pressed against the phaser array controls and not once letting up. Then she exploded.
With a sharp intake of breath, she was awake. She sat up in her bed and stared wildly around her, taking a moment or two to calm and remember where she was, and that she was safe. The Computer had automatically dimmed the lights when they'd drifted off, which had plunged the room into shadows.
They'd drifted off.
She glanced to her side, at where Cooper was lying next to her. Not wanting to disturb him, she moved to slide off the mattress on her side of the bed, and padded, still as naked as the day she was born, out into the en-suite bathroom to splash some cold water on her face.
[NPC Cooper - Costas place]
Brody didn't notice when Costa got up because he was sound asleep for most of the night. Completely spent from the exciting and horendous flight and fight, then put through pain and drugged to the hairline before spending his last bit of energy getting ridden by one heck of a hot thief.
He was out cold.
But just like his new partner in crime he was having dreams of the crazy kind. It was a mixture of fight scenes, torpedoes getting blown to bits by Breen and some really twisted stuff with some Mask clad aliens.
That dream was not present when he woke up. The pain in his arm was though, which made him wonder why modern medicine didn't simply blow that all away with their machines.
On top of it, he was freezing cold because Costa had earlier snatched the blanket.
He padded the bad, caught a handful of the fabric and pulled. Brody had no idea whether it was day or night, how long he had slept and for a moment not even where he was.
[Lex Costa - Private Quarters]
Once the water had cooled her too-warm cheeks, she took a moment, leaning against the sink as she steadied her breathing. Flashes from before and remnants of those action-packed dreams lingered, causing her adrenaline to spike again. Once she felt somewhat calmer, she plucked a glass from a nearby shelf and filled it with water. Then with a deep breath, she turned away from the mirror and returned to the bedroom.
Having been awake for longer, and more accostomed to the darker light, she caught Cooper's movement. "Computer, lights. Ten percent," she ordered quietly. A very soft glow emerged from the panels behind the bed, giving just enough illumination to stop an individual from walking into furniture, but not enough to hurt sleepy eyes.
She moved toward the bed and placed the glass on bedside table. Then, carefully, she climbed over her guest to reach her side of the bed. "How's the arm?" She asked before flopping back down on the mattress and sighing.
[Brody Cooper NPC - Costas quarters]
The lights, even dimmed low, woke him up a  bit more and made him aware of his surroundings. So did her voice.
He lifted his head to see the outline of her still naked body in a mostly unfamiliar bedroom. It didn't take long to put the pieces together.
Silently he admired her when she climbed over him and lifted the blanket to let her crawl under it and warm up if she wanted to.
"Morning, beautiful." He whispered, his voice still raspy from the night.
When she asked about his arm, he rolled over to face her.
"Sore but functional." He gave her a brief report with a hint of regret that the beautiful high had worn off now.
There wasn't much complaining though. Who would complain if he woke up to a sight like this. Brody certainly wasn't used to it.
He let his hand find the spot just above her hip.
"It's nice to wake up here....with you. Thanks for not kicking me out."
He didn't know enough about her to know whether she was into that kind of thing, how many guys she let stay at her place or whether this was special to her. It certainly was to Brody.
The young man let his head drop back on the pillow and smiled to himself.
[Lex Costa - Private Quarters]
The sound of his raspy, sleepy voice wishing her a good morning and calling her beautiful, elicited a reaction in Costa that she hadn't exactly felt before. But she shrugged it off with a mischievous grin, and then burrowed back under the blanket he was holding up for her. When he rolled over to face her and report on his injuries, her eyes flickered to his arm, as though she'd be able to witness its healing as she stared. It looked okay, though she imagined that the majority of the damage would remain unseen. At least, to her, with her limited medical knowledge and no access to any medical equipment.
When he reached out, his hand resting just above her hip, she found herself automatically angling her body toward his. She brought one of her hands up to the pillow, and then rested her cheek on it. When he thanked for not kicking him out, she actually laughed for a moment. "Well when I woke up I though' ta meself, Costa, time ta get up an' go. But then I realised I was in my own bed, and tha' I got nowhere ta run ta."
She wasn't joking, her modus operandi was generally to escape before whoever it was beside her woke up. The playing field changed a little when she brought him back to her own place. "'Sides, can't really kick out an injured man, can I?"
[NPC Cooper at Costas place]
He watched her talk and spread her body on the bed in her morning glory.
It was a very pretty sight, which Brody enjoyed a great deal. Her words, however, painted a different picture. She'd be gone now, if she could.
That's what Cooper had figured. She wasn't the kind of girl to stick around, have a talk and breakfast, returned many more times.
He was the same, sometimes, but it still made him feel a little disappointed.
"Would you like me to leave?" He asked in a quiet voice.
He suddenly felt like he had overstayed his welcome...perhaps only because he had been injured. Would she have kicked him out otherwise? Or was this a joke.
Brody searched her face for signs but couldn't tell. It was too dark.
He wasn't really ready to leave though. Hopefully this was just a joke.
With his free hand he cupped her cheek and leaned in for a quick kiss.
"I'd hate to go but I will if you're uncomfortable."
[Lex Costa - Private Quarters]
At his quiet question her brows raised, and she looked at him with some surprise. There had been a time or two when she'd overslept and had to share some seriously awkward pillow-talk with lads whose names she usually couldn't remember, but that was when she was away from home. Things were different in her own space.
She responded to his kiss, her hand moving from beneath her to reach out and wrap around his wrist as he cupped her cheek. Her eyes fluttered closed for a moment and she allowed herself to enjoy the unusual experience of affection. Before sleeping with someone it was sort of a necessity, but afterward, it wasn't normal for her.
"S'fine, am not uncomfortable," she told him when she pulled back, still close enough for her nose to almost be touching his. "I dun normally have people here... is just weird." Her expression in the dark was earnest, if a little unsure as she amended, "Not weird in a bad way." Costa had no idea if he was following her meaning, mostly because she wasn't sure what the meaning was herself.
Her body language and her words were worlds apart. While he body seemed content, sensual, pleased, he words expressed confusion.
Brody had a hard time to figure out what she meant. Obviously Costa wasn't sleeping around much or if she was, she was the kind of girl, that leaves before you wake up to avoid any sort of closeness or conversation.
Brody wrinkled his brow but soon decided to just take it for what it was. A pleasant time, some closeness, good company...probably not more.
Something inside of him wished it was different though, that it had more meaning.
"Good. He gently caressed her skin before he gave her one last deep kiss.
Then he checked the time. "I'm sorry....this is is not my escape route....but I have to go to work in thirty minutes. Either I stay here with you for another 15 and replicate clothes or I'll have to run now."
He slowly sat up, the blanket slipping of his naked body to pool around his waist.
"How do you feel about repeating this some time?"
He'd frowned, but then he seemed to understand, or maybe accept, what she'd said. Costa was a little relieved that she didn't have to talk about it any further, because honestly, she had no idea what she could say beyond what she'd already expressed. A small smile curved her mouth when he gently touched her, and kissed her in a way that suggested to her he was about to leave. She felt something akin to disappointment at the thought.
And then he made his excuses, and sat up. Half-closed eyes followed his movements, naturally drawn toward all of the exposed parts of him. While her gaze lingered she stretched in the bed, obviously showing no intention of moving. "Am not due on shift for 'nother three hours," she told him with some satisfaction, one hand grasped around the other wrist, her arms above her head, her back arching as she extended her body, stretching out some very stiff muscles. "Think will stay righ' here."
She paused her movements when he asked how she felt about repeating this. Her eyes moved back up his body to meet his, and her small smile turned impish. "Maybe not the almost dyin' part, but the stuff afterwards... Ya. I could repeat tha' some time."
