[Tranquility Beach]
"Yeah, right." Felicity snorted dismissively with a wave of her hand. She brought her glass to her lips to take a sip, eyes narrowed but crinkled at the sides, denoting her good humour. She wasn't going to fall for that, she was drunk, not stupid.
The seconds ticked by though, and as Felicity continued to look at Leanna and this 'Pieter' chap, and the longer the silence drew out, the more she doubted. She appraised Pieter subtly. Or at least she hoped she was being subtle, because she'd certainly not been earlier when she'd first clocked eyes on him. "Not a hologram?"
She frowned, looking from the veritable marble carving holding a bottle of something delicious, sun glinting off golden skin, muscles rippling with sure movements, to her mischievous friend, and then back again.
"You." Felicity's brows shot upward, her mind still trying to process what she was seeing and reconcile the image with what she was being told. "Are real."
As soon as she got confirmation she leaned forward, placed her glass on the table and attempted to control the signs of sudden embarrassment that were taking over her cheeks. She shook her head, biting her lip and trying to stop herself from crawling under the table and burying herself in the sand. At least you were polite while you ogled the poor guy. "Pieter I am so sorry." She looked at Lea again, exasperated. "He doesn't look real, Lea! He looks like he just crawled down from Mount Olympus!" Then she was mortified at herself all over again for speaking about the poor guy like he wasn't standing there on the beach, serving them refreshments.
