Academy Instructors Required

I am delighted to announce that we now have some spots open for Academy Instructors. The full requirements are listed below, but anyone holding a rank between Lieutenant (officer) or Petty Officer First Class (enlisted) and Commander (officer) or Master Chief Petty Officer (enlisted), may apply to become an instructor in the field they specialise in. For example, a medical officer could not manage the security course.

The full requirements are as follows:

• Must hold the minumum rank of Lieutenant or PO1 but not higher than Commander or Master Chief Petty Officer.
• Must have at least 300 posts,
• Must have been a member of the fleet for at least 6 months,
• Must not have received any reprimands for inappropriate conduct.
• Must be willing to commit more time to the fleet.

A generic job description of the Academy Instuctor:

The Academy Instructor is responsible for conducting an officer's course during his/her time in training. The instructor will have access to the hidden boards containing the academy course materials which s/he will use as aids in the training course. Once a member joins the fleet, the fleet personnel officer will direct them to their academy course and the instructor will take it from there. You must be willing to commit to posting regularly and must have an excellent standard of spelling/grammar. This is an out of character (OOC) position, meaning it will not affect your current position onboard a starship. You must meet all of the above listed criteria before applying. All academy instructors report to the Academy Commandant.
