Mission Title: Child's Play
Synopsis: The USS Yourship has just finished hosting a dinner commemorating a successful first encounter with the Jovento, a humanoid species vying for an alliance with the United Federation of Planets. The Jovento are a species that experience a genetic anomaly during the fetuses gestation period where some members do not physically progress past adolescence. Those who are effected become chosen for the ruling class and governmental body. A childlike emperor (appears to be about 13 or 14) rules over the people but is given counsel by an adult vizier, the only adult allowed to work in government. After the departure of the emperor, a toxin is released through environmental controls that reverts all crew members back to their teenage state. This means hormones, acne, angst, and even braces for a select few. The vizier had been placed under strict orders to tamper with the ship in order to find a suitable mate for the emperor. In addition, the ship's systems go completely out of whack, systems overload, and the ship is thrown into complete disarray. it is discovered that the vizier intends to overthrow the government by hijacking the ship and using its technology to stage a coup. The USS Yourship and the governing class of the Jovento must combine forces in order to stop the vizier's dastardly plan.

Starting Point: One option is to begin the mission at the tail-end of the dinner leading into the emperor's departure or alternatively right after the Jovento have left the ship.
End Goal: The crew of the USS Yourship are reverted back to their adult selves and must team together with the Jovento in order to stop the vizier.
Story points that must be passed?: - The Jovento must be introduced into the storyline one way or another.
- All humans on board become gravely ill as their body reverts back to their teenage self (13-17 years old). Most have all the knowledge that comes with their position but have to battle hormones, teenage insecurities, angst, rebellion, all the great things that come with being young again while others are complete teenagers, incapable of carrying out their duties.
Note: Crew members who are not human are not effected. Human/alien hybrids can succumb to the toxin at the discretion of the player.
- The ship's systems are completely out of whack, dropping in and out warp, core overloads then stops, holodeck characters coming to life. It falls apart at the seams.
- The ship must make contact with the Jovento again and the emperor reluctantly explains that he had ordered his vizier to contaminate the crew
- It is revealed that the vizier was not ordered to tamper with the ship's controls and the emperor finds that odd.
- The vizier and a small battalion of ships drop out of warp and they engage the ship in order to take control.
- Either Science/Medical find a way to reverse the aging process.
- The vizier is overthrown and the emperor apologizes for tampering with the crew. He departs without a mate.

Departments:
- Flight: Flight controls go completely berserk, the ship goes in and out of warp which would potentially overload the core. During the battle with the vizier, flight plays a crucial role in battle.
- Engineering: Disastrous. One minute the warp core is breached, the second minute it's fine. Essential parts of the ship are powered down while nonessential aspects are overpowered. During the battle with the vizier, engineering provides support to the bridge.
- Operations: The biggest job of them all. With all of the ship's systems going haywire, operations must get to the root of the problem. They discover that the not only have environmental controls been tapped but also the vizier has uploaded a virus onto the ship's computer.
- Security and tactical: False intruder alerts drive the security team completely bonkers.  A small group of alien (Klingon, maybe?) holograms with safety protocols set to off somehow escape from the holodeck and wage war on the crew. During the battle with the vizier, tactical and security are crucial to the ship's success.
- Medical: Medical officers and the science team must work together in order to find an  antidote to cure the ailing crew members. During the battle, medical must work to save the injured.
- Science: Half of science is assigned to assist to the medical department while the other half is set to assist security as they are stretched very thin. Imagine that, scientists and security officers working in completely harmony. Not.
