Character Bio: Born in Manassas, VA to Lance and Laura Flint. Lance was once a commander in Starfleet, but discharged after losing his leg in a shuttle crash on Vulcan when Calvin was Five and his sister was three. Lance was offered a position at the Academy, but declined, choosing to return to his hometown with his family, raising his children away from the constantly looming Starfleet. Lance became a bit paranoid shortly after his injury, encouraging his children to pursue other paths aside from Starfleet.

Despite Lance's best efforts, Mara was accepted into Starfleet Academy shortly after High School. She became a pilot after four years in the academy. Meanwhile, Calvin had taken another path. He went off to university after High School, spending eight years and became a doctor. At the age of 26, he was accepted at a teaching hospital near Richmond where he spent his internship and the first few years of his residency.

However, after his second year, he took a patient who turned out to be Commander Martin Long who was visiting family while on shore leave. He had become violently ill two days into his leave and had to be admitted. Calvin started having elongated conversations with Commander Long, who started telling Calvin tales from his travels in Starfleet. On the third day, when the Commander began to recover, Long asked Calvin why he didn't join Starfleet. After a lengthy conversation, Long managed to convince Calvin to join Starfleet. Calvin went off to the academy two weeks later.

Calvin called for a nurse, throwing his tricorder on the table nearby. He gripped the patient by the shoulders and pinned him to the medical bed. He gritted his teeth as the Andorian thrashed. The blue-skinned humanoid's eyes rolled back as if looking at the wall behind him. The nurse ran up, pulling a cart with her.

"Adrena...damn it...ADRENALINE!" Calvin exclaimed as as the thrashing patient had forced him to jam his elbow in the wall. He gritted his teeth harder, grinding them to the point he would be surprised if they weren't two centimeters shorter at the end of this. He felt sweat roll down his fore head as he tried to keep the patient still.

The Nurse grabbed a hypospray and took aim. The patient was thrashing too hard for her to get a good shot. Calvin adjusted, trying to at least give the nurse a shot at the neck. "Now or Never, Able."

The Nurse nodded and plunged the hypospray into the mid-neck of the Andorian. The humanoid thrashed for a few more seconds, then settled. Calvin released him flexing his hand. He sat on the biobed behind him, trying to lower his heart rate. "Damn...already had a workout this morning." He checked his own pulse.

Able straightened and set the hypospray back on the cart. "Will there be anything else, Doctor?"

Calvin shrugged. "There's always dinner." He flashed a crooked smile.

How did you find Shadow Fleet? I was searching for a new RP site on Google and came across Shadow Fleet.
