Please note: This was originally an SBC exclusive mission, but a small change of locale could make this work for any SIMM. Or perhaps the mission ship is visiting an alternate universe Columbus.

Mission Title: War is Peace
Synopsis: The crew is somehow transported to an alternate universe where Starfleet and the Federation do not exist. In its place is an autocratic, dystopian government called the Inherent Collective. The Collective Starbase Columbus (CSC) is a processing and detention center for political dissidents. Regular purges of undesirables are carried out via airlocking. The crew find themselves aboard the Station, living their own lives, but in positions of relative authority to their own in their universe. They must try to use their influence and power to dismantle the systematic evil of the Starbase. However, the Inherent Collective is never far behind, and neither is the knowledge that destroying the Columbus and themselves may be the only way to accomplish their mission.

Starting Point: The crew find themselves on the CSC (Collective Starbase Columbus), living their alternate universe lives.
End Goal: Shut down the harsh prison starbase for good.
Story points that must be passed?:

Arrive in alternate universe and orient themselves
Meet in secret to collaborate
Attempt to disrupt, shut down, or destroy the dystopian Starbase

Departments: (To make sure everyone has something to do.)
- Flight: NONE/own choosing
- Engineering: Interfere with CSC systems to attempt to disrupt operations
- Operations: Attempt to find way back to correct universe
- Security and tactical: Protect prisoners and other crew members
- Medical: Treat prisoners and other crew members
- Science: Attempt to find way back to correct universe

Notes:

My plan is to have our appearances be alter to be all dystopian. Shaved heads, identification tattoos, gray jumpsuits. Bad food, like a big bowl of gruel that is just called "Nutrition." Regular propaganda announcements. The security department is actually a group of brutal secret police. Perhaps the citizens of the CSC want freedom and can be sparked to revolt. Maybe there is a war going on with the alternate universe Klingons. And if the crew ends up shutting down the alternate universe Station the Inherent Collective forces could find their way back to our universe.

Staking claim for the SBC, I have ideas for this.
