Site Downtime for Yearly Payment

Hey all,

As part of our yearly costs being met, and the request for a more friendly cost schedule, there will be site downtime in our near future.

This downtime will do several things, all good for our site.

First, the costs for our site will go down. We've managed to score a significant discount with the site host for this year, and an overall lower cost for the site going forward. This will allow us to start off the year on a good note. This will allow us to work our way toward the costs for this year getting met sooner than expected!

Second, the timetable: After this, our site will be due for renewal in January, and so we can better estimate our costs for each year and what we have on hand. This was a change requested by one of our members

Third, there are some more features that come along with this change. We are moving to a new server under the same company, on a "High Performance" web server. This will give the site a speed boost, and help us deliver content to you the user quicker.

It's this change in server that is causing the downtime. This will not be a regular occurance.

As such, the site will be going down Friday,1/19/18  at 5 PM EST (Approximately) for around twenty four hours. Similar to the last downtime, the exact start of downtime may fluctuate.
