Saya rested her double-ended oar across the sides of the small boat and peered around. She'd only visited the Eastern District on Bajor once, when her father had wanted to show her his home, but as far as she could tell, the holodeck had done an incredible job of recreating the location.
She leaned her head back, allowing the artificial sun to warm her face. The wind rustled through the trees and grass, wafting the scent of wildflowers to her and ruffling her hair.
Saya simply enjoyed the silence and the beauty, knowing she'd have to return to her duties soon enough. Not that she minded her work, but the people could sometimes be tedious.
After a little while longer sitting and allowing the boat to drift on the pond, she rose and said, Computer, save program and end.
