Shadow Fleet- A Year In Review

Hello Shadow Fleet!

2017 has been one heck of a year. Together, we've celebrated our 10th anniversary as a fleet, we've launched the USS Shran and Challenger to boldly go say it with me now, where noone has gone before, and ushered back in the long-gone task groups of our site. We've enjoyed two excellent featured missions, and retired the venerable Akira-Class discovery, her standard now carried by the Prometheus class ship of the same name.

2017 has also been a time of challenge and painful growth. We've said fair skies and following seas to many key and founding members, we've dealt with site issues, and come out the better for it. We've seen the change of the guard, with Admirals Constance Lafayette and Chris Newberry stepping aside, to pursue newer and greater things. We've dealt with the ever-pesky spammers, bots, and general nuisances.

But 2017 has been a milestone for growth. We have had an amazing surge in terms of site growth. We've had a 50% increase in posts compared to last year, and welcomed back 33 members to our site family. We've also welcomed 45 new faces into our cheerful midsts.

We've gone through and rewritten many of our site's rules, bringing them back up to date, and overhauled many site processes. None of this would be possible without YOU. You are what make Shadow Fleet truly Special. You are what make us who we are... Thank you.

Shadow Fleet is always on a quest to improve- to grow stronger, and better, with your help. As such, beyond give a summary of our year, we've come to ask for your input.
