Mission Title: United We Stand - Divided We Fall
Synopsis: The ship is conducting a routine survey when they receive 2 distress calls within minutes of each other. Both these calls are equally dire, just as urgent as each other and in opposite directions. Will no other ship able to help, the crew are forced to split up. The ship and half the crew head to the further emergency with a the other half, taking a runabout or similar craft to the other. Shortly after separating, communications with the other half of the crew start being more difficult before going down completely. The two halves of the crew head to their respective emergencies and both manage to avert the problem. Once they do so, each half of the crew learn that their disaster was orchestrated by an unknown ship, which left a trail to follow. the two halves of the crew have to decide whether to chase the perpetrator or try and solve their communication problems. Either way they will have to identify why this ship decided to keep Starfleet busy.

Starting Point: Two distress calls of equal seriousness and urgency are received forcing the crew to split it's resources to help both at once.
End Goal: Deal with both emergencies and identify and stop the cause of both the disasters.
Story points that must be passed?: Split the crew, half take the Starship to one and half take Runabout/Delta Flyer to the other. Solve both emergencies, identify the cause and deal with them.

Departments: (To make sure everyone has something to do.)
- Flight: Flying Starship/Flyer/Runabout
- Engineering: Making sure all ships work and help sort out disasters.
- Operations: ensure all ships can cope, help sort out disasters and track the source.
- Security and tactical: Help sort out disasters, help track the source and Bring the culprits in.
- Medical: Help with the disasters, treat any injuries and help track down the culprits.
- Science: Help with the disasters and help track down the culprits.

Note: This could also work as a two mission mini-series. First Mission to help the two groups requesting aid and the Second tracking down and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
