T'Ra furrowed a brow, searching the data for a more revealing answer, entering a few keys to adjust the sensors slightly to see if that would yield any better results. "I am still not picking up anything to indicate jammed communications," she replied. "However, sensors are now picking up trace amounts of veridium, for which none of the possible explanations bode well. Most often such isotopes indicate a cloaked ship or a warp breach."

A new figure appeared on the edge of her vision. From the corner of her eye, she could see the blue uniform but not much else, and whoever it was seemed content enough to wait for the moment until she could actually turn around and address the situation. After giving her initial report to Kirok, she turned to see who it was.

[Bridge]

"That is unsettling" Kirok replied.  This meeting with Casas was critical if they were going to offer a fair trial to their Section 31 prison in the Brig.  He stared to issue orders to Sec/Tac.  But stopped when he noticed Mr. Conwell.

Quote from: Justin Conwell on April 03, 2017, 12:26:12 AM

[Bridge, Shran]

Justin stepped onto the bridge from the turbolift in a new uniform. It was one similar to what he wore earlier except it wasn't in tatters from battle damage. For him, the last week had been difficult but to anyone else, it was like he wasn't gone as long.

With a normal complement of sixty on the Nemesis, for twelve hours he had to deal with thirty turning to only seven remaining. Each death under his command was felt personally but the only way to get Justice and return the timeline back to how it should would be to defeat the stolen time ship in this era before it can cause any more damage. Looking around, the bridge was a bit busy but that was to be expected but he already knew what they would find at Vice Admiral Casas location.

With padd in hand walked by the back stations to Admiral Kirok. "Admiral, just wanted to thank you again for saving us and Commander S'Saavik. After we left time deteriorated after another way destroyed what was left of the resistance.

I have some good news, though. I've been able to get the Nemesis back to basic operational condition. Hull breaches are nearly repaired but it will be another four to six hours before I can have ninety percent operational status." He spoke up before lowering his voice a little so only the admiral and Commander Hawke could hear. "You may wish to go to Yellow Alert. I know why Vice Admiral Casas hasn't responded to any of your hails thus far."

[Bridge]

"Think nothing of it.  I was simply doing what any other Commanding Officer would have" Kirok replied.  His right eyebrow arched at the Justin's warning.

"Ah, something like that..." She muttered unconvincingly, glancing over her shoulder. "Really, its no problem, I adore my work. 'S why I do it, but thank you anyway, sir." She decided it best not to argue. They could likely go back and forth all day about the illogical nature of staying up all night just to work. Not that she had a solid argument other than 'I wanted to' anyway.

Nodding as the Chief Engineer entered, she turned back to her station to continue monitoring quietly.

[Bridge]

Kirok simply replied with a nod.  He could see that they were finally at their destination and would drop out of warp in just a moment.  "Please take us to yellow alert, Ms. Stark" he called out.

Quote from: Zuriel Soreka on April 03, 2017, 03:11:25 AM

Zuriel had to clean up the mess that was in some ways his fault, while he had no sway over who joined he did in fact train many of operatives  in hiding, it seems on some of them he did his job too well. Admiral Kirok and Captain Stafford gave him as much wiggle room as they could, but he still had to tend to his duties on the station, and that left huge swaths of time that he could not investigate.

To Zuriel the things that had happened pointed to an ulterior motive, something that the task force had done that made Sloan single them out. Task Force Ten was a good group of ships, they had defended the federation ten times over, but to Zuriel's knowledge they did not stick out ahead of any other fleet, at least not enough to garner such a personal touch; that was why Zuriel was out here on a civilian ship, trying to figure out what made his beloved crewmen so special.

The amount of dead leads the El-Aurian had found since he had returned was promising, it meant he was on the right track, all he had to do was find the link they forgot, or left deliberately for some tactical reason, this cycle had gone on for at least six months, and if Zuriel was honest with himself he was growing tired of it.

The last lead took Zuriel into Cardassia, Cardassians were extremely clever and they currently held the record for most S31 agents captured, this was still going on and Zuriel at the time thought if he could find an agent that had been captured after he had left the federation, that they might know something on Sloan, this was not to be so however as Sloan had killed anyone who had ties with him right under the Cardassians noses. What he did find was intelligence on Cardassian weapon schematics that had been stolen around the same time.

The last piece of information led Zuriel back into federation space, to meet with a certain admiral, it was the contact dictated by Admiral Kirok would put any information to good use.

[SS Wraith]

"Yggdrasil we are about to drop warp for the installation now, but ill level with you; what our scanner are picking up does not bode well for you mission." The ship captain said with warning in his voice.

Zuriel stood looking out the observation port in his black ops amour his face covered in a black out helmet, turning his head, "What are you picking up..." Zuriel asked his voice digital and distorted.

"Well that just it, nothing at all." The Captain walked over with a PADD and handed it to the agent, "You described a full operational station, I should be picking up thousands of warp trails varying in age; but we don't see anything, it's like the area got erased or something." The Captian said alarm building in his tone.
"Your sensors are not strong en-"Zuriel was cut off.

"Dammit Yggdrasil my sensors are battle ready, I won't go into where I got them, but they are just as powerful as what you are used to, the sensors don't lie, what you looking for simply isn't there." The Captain was not in Zuriel's face. After a few moments of staring into the pitch black visor, he rethought his next course of action.

"Look man I know we have done a lot of work together in the past; but this is just plain creepy, either you tell me what we are looking for or I'll have to just leave you there!" The Captain put his foot down, while trying not to piss his pants.
Zuriel got right in the man's face, tilted his head slightly to see if the man would flinch, he did but still held his ground. "Then you leave." The distorted voice of Zuriel stated bluntly. Zuriel pushed past the Captain and made his way to the airlock.
When the ship dropped out of warp, the fears of the Captain were confirmed, the entire area was littered with the remains of a ship; the sight left the crew of the civilian speechless. "Yggdrasil call me crazy but I think this is your stop, you're not like what you see." The Captain said still flabbergasted at the amount of destruction.

"The area is a graveyard..." The distorted voice of Zuriel said as matter of fact.

"Yeah that about sums it up, how did you know, super-secret sensors in your suit?" The captain chided.

"I'm in the airlock genius..." Zuriel responded flatly, the distortion making it even more disrespectful. "Depressurization complete, thanks for the ride." Zuriel used the thrusters in his suit to propel himself into the debris field, he would spend his time now analyzing the debris to figure out what happened here.

James ran in the hallway as he was following his morning workout.  It was a short workout as he ran in the hallway instead of the holodeck.  As he turned in the corridor he noticed a Lt. gretting him, she commented "Commander".  As James approached, he kept quiet and nodded at the greetings.

He was wearing his undershirt red as he kept running, working out keeping in shape.  He was not getting any younger, but he was still trying to keep himself in tip top shape.  Instead of taking turbolift he was taking Jeffrey's tube.

[Sickbay]

James ran into sickbay and felt the doors swishing behind him.  He had some sweat in his face as he ran into sickbay.  He heard there was a new doctor on board and wanted to take a second to introduce himself.

His breathing was a little shallow; Hawke was a little surprised because he tries to keep himself in shape.  However, he wondered if all the desk work caught up to him.

James wondered and asked to the nearest nurse "Is Doctor Del Bosque on duty?"  James asked to the nearest nurse.

"Na'shaya, and..Soraya renga Ma'am. I'm Jor Garan, and, yes. I've been added to your department until few days ago." He made a pause and reprised, " about my feeling surely it's been an anomalous time for me, due to the simple fact that I'm used to being behind a desktop and not in operative, very operative, condition. Anyway my phase of disorientation been short-lived, I think..I hope" and smiled gently.

Then He added "I'm here to help you. If you have some items available for me, please count on me."

[Bridge]

T'Ra dipped her head in reply. "I'm glad to hear you're adjusting," she commented. "And I'm sure you'll find the Shran to be a good deal larger than any of the other ships that you could have been posted to." T'Ra could easily understand how someone could get lost on a ship like theirs, but the size of it was a comfort to her, less confining. "As long as you can find your way to the science labs, I'd say you're doing just fine." Though she did not smile in return, she hoped her tone conveyed the friendly meaning well enough. "It is certainly good to have you on board. I just lost an officer to a transfer, and based on your service record, I think we're in good hands."

All indications are pointing to a warp core breach." T'Ra glanced over her shoulder, watching the main viewer as they inched closer to what appeared more and more like some sort of graveyard. Evan glanced up as the first officer jogged into sickbay, raising a brow in surprise to see the man here, given his supposed disdain for needles. "Good to see to see you in here, Commander," Evan remarked, trying to conceal a snicker. T'Ra had told him about the prank she and Sevoc had engineered. Maybe that's all they needed to lure the commander into sickbay, a pretty doctor.

Zuriel had scoured the area trying to find any clue as to what happened here; there was only so much he could do as the only sensors he was were integrated in his suit, and they were not designed to check wreckage for signs of anything really.  What he could do was find a computer terminal to interface with, the odd of finding one in working order was limited but he had to least try. Maneuvering through the wreckage was easy with his thrusters, drifting for piece to peace he looked for a part of the computer that still have intact power relays; still the area was dangerous so he would take his time and leave the smallest signal he could as he investigated, the people they were currently dealing with did not tend to leave an stone unturned.

Zuriel made his way to the most intact part of what was left of the ship and flew in. Flicking on his helmet mounted flashlights. There was no chance of getting lost in here, there were far too many holes, but after a few hours of diligence Zuriel found a computer panel. Pushing a button on his arm a compartment opened revealing a mobile power supply. Zuriel placed the power supply on the computer and activated it. After overriding the command protocols he began to downloading all log data from the crew, the data was severely corrupted, but Zuriel believed a starship would have the computer power to make sense of it, once he was picked up that is, this was another problem all together.

Zuriel only had so much life support in his suit, and it was getting weaker by the second, making his way out of the ship he set himself adrift in the wreckage, the initialized the sleep mode in his suit, this would conserve what he had left of life support by bringing is vitals as low as possible, but they would be strong enough to be picked up by anyone who really was searching the area, he only hoped they would be friendly, or if they were not at least dumb enough to wake him before they tried to kill him. As icing on the cake he turned on his beacon, this sent subspace pulses in a pattern that anyone that knew who he was out of a federation uniform would recognize by the sound and know it was him, the last thing he needed was to blasted by the people he was trying to help.

Kirok hands closed in fists.  He was certain the Sloan had something to do with this, even without proof.  "Put out a general hale out on all frequencies.  Perhaps they were able to get away on escape pods" he said before finding his seat.

James remained standing as he was still huffing and puffing from his workout.  He recognized that he was still slightly more out of shape than he remembered.  He felt the sweat coming around his body as he finished his morning workout.   Instead of the usual training he opted to run around the ship it was a way that most of the crew could see him.

There was several ways to lead and sometime he lead by example.  He hoped that with that working out other people in the crew would take their workout routines a little more seriously.  His undershirt felt a little tighter than usual.  However, James did not know what was the cause.

He looked at Evan and placed his arms around his hips and he took shallow breath.  "Yeah, have not meet the new doctor, although this shirt feels kind of tight...I must be getting fatter" He looked at Evan and said "Anything new here? Evan...I know I rarely make it down here"

James looked at Evan and was wondering where was the new Doctor too.  She would be responsible for the crew in crisis situations.  Meeting here would be a good idea, or so James thought.

"Could also be increased muscle mass," Evan mused. Though he knew very well that neither of these was the case, and it took all his effort not to grin and give himself away. The next point, however, truly gave him reason to look a little less than happy. "I think the better question would be, what isn't new?" he countered, crossing his arms. "When Sloan forced the saucer separation, it tore right through sickbay, wires and debris everywhere. The only way out was through the jefferies tubes." He would never forget the look on T'Ra Á¢â,¬Ëœs face at the prospect. Her face had been cool as a cucumber, but he knew her better. If he ever got his hands on Sloan...

Evan sighed, but with a slight shrug of the shoulder and a grin beginning to inch its way back across his face, he added, "Can you even imagine how hard it was to find a way to get the Tholian out of sickbay?"

James heard Evan's comment about his increase muscle mass.  He took it that evan mentioned he was getting stronger or more ripped.  With a slight smile "Yeah, whatever...I think you are full of something  Evan"  James responded

The rest of the conversation turned more serious and the smile dropped as the two men began thinking. "Evan, since the attack, I was always suspicious about the motive.  Sloan is an intelligent cunning person, and I have never figured out what was his endgame"  James said to Evan
"Why go to soo much trouble, when it's easier to discredit us legally by stacking votes and admirals against us?"  James asked

"The Tholian, evacuation, almost destroying the Shran, almost seems out of desperation.  We are missing a big piece Evan"  James commented as he placed his hand under his chin.  "We are overlooking something...the question is what?"
