MISSION START: 23rd May, 2008

*Kawolsky strolled onto the bridge and approached the helm station.*

"Lieutenant, enter these co-ordinates into the navigational computer"  he said, passing a padd to Christopher

*Turning around, Kawolsky then walked up to Bradley*

"I just finished talking to Admiral Johnson. He has sent the Atlantis to rendezvous with us at a planet Starfleet has codenamed 'Safehaven', where we drop off the Cardassian survivors, at least temporarily."

Scott let out a bemused sigh and folded his arms.

" And what? just leave them there? Are they planning anything for Cardassia? "

"I just finished talking to Admiral Johnson. He has sent the Atlantis to rendezvous with us. Once she arrives, we are to head to a planet Starfleet has codenamed 'Safehaven', where we drop off the Cardassian survivors, at least temporarily."

Alan took the padd and began entering the Coordinates.  It didn't take too long for Alan to realise they were heading for a backwater system, smack bang in the middle of a nebula. Once he was finished he turned around in his seat.

" Coordinates entered captain, ready to leave on your command. "

Scott let out a bemused sigh and folded his arms.

" And what? just leave them there? Are they planning anything for Cardassia? "

"For now, we're to escort the ships to the planet and help the civilians set up camp. We will stay in orbit and provide assistance and defence, in case those rebels decide to show up. As for Cardassia, when things have quietened down a bit, I will have a talk with Starfleet."

*Cortez was at the Ops console when a text message flashed up in front of him*

"Sir? I have received a message from Major Ransom. Text only. He says that he and the rest of the marines have caught a ride on the Atlantis and will rendezvous with us in 20 hours"

Scott took the padd Alan had, and reviewed the information about the planet.

" That nebula's going to make contact with the outside very difficult, not to mention sensors and transporters will be severely affected. it's gonna be hell in there. "

Scott then turned to lieutenant armstrong.

" Lieutenant, signal the fleet, give them the coordinates and tell them to jump to warp. "

*Cortez was at the Ops console when a text message flashed up in front of him*

"Sir? I have received a message from Major Ransom. Text only. He says that he and the rest of the marines have caught a ride on the Atlantis and will rendezvous with us in 20 hours"

"Ah, it's nice to finally hear from the major!"  Kawolsky joked with serious undertones.  "Send him an acknowledgment"

*Cortez pushed some buttons and sent the message. He got back to his diagnostics*

" well, its not what i wanted to be doing for the next couple of weeks. But orders are orders. "

Scott took the padd Alan had, and reviewed the information about the planet.

" All ships are to jump to warp and rendezvous at the following coordinates. Speed warp 5. Discovery out. "

Lee cut the channel and turned his head to look at the captain.

" The first of the ships are warping now sir, the rest are following soon. "

*Richard Exited the Troubolift  and Entered the Bridge he walked Over to the Command Chair Who an Vulcan Capitan who was Siting*

"Capitan, Major Richard Ransom, U.S.S Discovery Marine Detectment Commanding Officer, Thank You for Giving us an Lift" Said Richard

"Greetings, Major Iam Captain S'Val, It would Be Logical As We are Meeting Your Vessel, You May Have an Seat in the Guest Chair On the Bridge" Said S'Val

"Thank You Captian" Said Richard as he Took an Seat and Looked at the View Screen

Lee began transmitting the coordinates to all the ships in the convoy. He then followed with a message.

Safi Looked at the Readouts of the Fleet making sure they Can Matain the Speed.

"Half of the Fleet are Down to Warp 4.8, Capitan we got no Time to Repair the Secondary Drive Coils in those Vessels" Said Safi
