Fifth Anniversary Special Mission: The Result!

After nearly a month of voting, the results are now in for the next Special Mission, due to take place in January, 2012!

From a choice of 4 different mission ideas, 16 of you voted for your own favorite and we do have a winner. "The Great Tribble Hunt" came out on top with a massive 7 votes, followed closely by "Divergence" with 5, then "A Q Trough Time" with 3 and lastly, with just one vote, "Hidden Gene".

In case you've forgotten, here is the original outline for "The Great Tribble Hunt" as submitted by Shelaf Greegy:

When an Engineering officer's Tribble escapes, and starts reproducing at an outstanding rate, trouble ensues for the ship's crew. However, when the tribbles start causing engineering failures, and a klingon Negh'Var turns up, demanding the crew turn over the empires "Arch Nemesis", things take a turn for the worse....

I hope that this turns out to be a fun mission for all of us. I am really hoping that we might be able to succeed in having a nice battle between the Klingons and the Federation, all the while the Federation starship having a wonderful time with Tribbles. Can anyone say load the Tribble Torpedo?
