Character Bio:
Finn considers himself a modern day 'Han Solo'.  He's the pilot of his ship (a Kaplan F17 civilian freighter), which he uses to earn a living by transporting goods and people. If the money is right he'll fly just about anything from A to B.
He's considered the 'black sheep' of the Moreno family and more often than not avoids family gatherings.
Through his Dad, he's heard word that his cousin, Tess, who has risen through the Starfleet ranks to be the Executive Officer of a space station, has married (a Romulan of all people) and has just had a baby.
This he has to see for himself.

Plus he's got something precious to deliver.

Two days had passed since the fateful flight to the coordinates, he'd been given.
Finn stood under a leafless tree next to his freighter while two suns were beating down without mercy.
The pilot could not wait to be back on a station or at least a planet, which wasn't this hot. He liked that much better. Slowly he sat down because he wasn't feeling too good. Dehydration, sleep deprivation, you name it. A break in the shade should do him some good. There was even a slight breeze.

A kick against his leg woke him up almost two hours later. "Hey .."
Finn looked up, shielding his eyes against the bright sun, that only allowed him to see the outline of a creature.
"Are you the guy selling weapons?" The voice sounded mechanical, yet unfriendly.
Blinking the tiredness away Finn struggled to his feet. "What do you want?"
His vision blacked out and he had to hold on to the tree.
The creature decided to lecture him. "Your ship is open....you should be more careful. Sleeping out here is a bad idea."

As if he didn't know that.
A second guy stepped forward...looking at him very closely. "You gonna sell us some?" The man had dull, milky eyes and no teeth. The few strands of hair were way too long.
"No, man, no....I have no weapons anymore. They were stolen."
After a brief discussion among the two followed, during which Finn became increasingly nervous. He had just lost his entire load"¦.
