Gender: male
Species: Human
Height: 1.89 m
Weight: 82 kg

Family:

  • Mother: Violet Darrow
  • Father: George Darrow
  • Brother(s): Michael Darrow (7 years older, occupies a high position in Starfleet Command)
  • Sister(s): none
Early life

Raiden noticed that he was different than other kids pretty soon. He lacked a sense of fantasy and imagination which made the classmates and neighbourhood kids lose interest in him very soon and he even became the target of their mockings.

Raiden was a smart kid, a very smart kid, he had a remarkable sense of logic and efficiency. What scored above average dropped below average when it came to the ability of social interaction and empathy. Raiden had none of it. While his parents were loving ones, there always was a gap between them which made it difficult for Raiden to bond. He later learned that his brother experienced the same.

All of this lead to the fact that his social skills were poor and his specialized skills were over the top.

Starfleet career

Raiden joined Starfleet academy at the age of 17 and graduated as the best of his class. His knowledge in chemistry, biology and science were outstanding and there was no doubt that he was considered to be some sort of genius in his field.

Right after he finished his Starfleet training he was assigned to Katra Station

Early life
Profile: Saqa7 was born 10 yrs after her youngest brother. Her parents were not married. She grew up learning of her mixed native/japanese heritage. But as she grew up in the native community of Bridge River, it is that culture she displays most often. The wonders of space always intrigued her. So when in high school she was given a choice of careers, she knew she wanted one that involved space. Starfleet seemed the ideal career move. Her caring nature made her pick the medical field. She attended Starfleet Medical Academy.
Starfleet career

While on assignment on the USS Ford, Saqa7 met a female Trill named Jureena Kahn.   Having grown up in a small traditional community, imagine her surprise when she found herself growing more and more attracted to Jureena. She was a little hesitant at first to fully express how she felt to Jureena and her other shipmates, but she found tolerance and acceptance pretty much everywhere she turned, except for home. Saqa7's father is a firm traditionalist and has cut all communications with her when she announced her engagement to Jureena just prior to receiving new orders - a transfer to the USS Bradbury. After little less than a year, Jureena received her own transfer to the Bradbury and it did not take the two long to tie-the-knot, with the Captain presiding over their marriage. A short time later, the Bradbury was decommissioned unexpectedly and Jureena and Saqa7 were reassigned to the Nereid.

Saqa7 survived the Tri-Ship Attack  (being played on yahoogroup USS_Pheonix @ https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/USS_Pheonix/info - currently inactive) during which her wife Jureena was taken and is presumed dead.  Saqa7 in an attempt to move on accepted a position on the medical frigate the USS Pasteur and was transferred from there to the USS Vanguard (played at http://www.ussvanguard.utopia-host.com/index.php/main/index - currently inactive) just prior to its deep space mission. At which time, she befriended a Romulan named Rayek tr'Lhoell.

She remained with the Vanguard for several years (offline) until she was transferred to the IBN Sinna (Shadowfleet.com) where she reunited with Rayek who was now a Petty Officer in Starfleet. The mission on Silgram IV did not go well.  A cure was found for the disease that ravaged the Silgram populace but because of cultural beliefs Starfleet personnel were not allowed to use it.

Saqa7 was tired of having people she could save die on her... and she ignored the Prime Directive and Starfleet orders to provide the cure to the suffering Silgramites.  Her efforts were stopped shortly after she began distributing the cure, and she was held for trial by Starfleet.

In the end she had her medical licence revoked and was demoted down to Lt (jg).

After a while she was assigned to Katra Station as a Science officer.  There she met up with Rayek once more... this time he was Lt Cmdr and XO of the station.  Saqa7 was glad to see him succeed and was overjoyed to working on the same assignment as him.  Because of her close friendship with Rayek, she never noticed at first his interest in her.  When she did realize it, she knew she didn't love him back - not romantically anyways - he was close friend only. Her heart still belong to Jureena.  Rayek's interest however prompted Saqa7 to get out once more to find Jureena.  Before leaving she gave Tess a bit of advice on how to possibly win over Rayek's interest. Then she approached Rayek and told him the truth - there would never be anything romantic between.  Awkwardly, she had to point out her sexual interest in women over men to him.  That seemed to shock him the most.  She left the station that day.

Her transport ship that she had booked passage on to search deeper into the Gamma Quadrant was attacked and she was captured and held hostage for what seemed like months. After a time, Tess, Rayek and Hrafn were there too. Also captured.  But between them, Jada and the Captain - all Katra personnel were released.  It was only afterwards that Saqa7 questioned... had Jureena been brought to the thinkers as well?

Now back on the station, Saqa7 was quietly asking merchants and such, discreet questions about the Thinkers, and the Drecacon.

Rayek trLhoell

Character Details

Character Name: Telmuk tr'Lhoell

alias: Rhienn tr'Hei (Romulan Ambassador's aide)
Character Age: 31
Character DOB: Sept 13, 2367
Character Image:
Character Species: Romulan
Gender: Male
Character Family: s'Lhoell

siblings:

older brother "" Rayek tr'Lhoell

older sister "" Kemala t'Lhoell

Character Bio: Born the youngest child of the Proconsul Talen ir'Khellian tr'Lhoell and wife Aen t'Lhoell. Telmuk, a quiet and rather timid child, was undoubtedly spoiled by his mother as the youngest of her children "" especially after her miscarriage (afterwhich she was declared barren and couldn't have more children). Yet even with this special attention, it was his older brother than was central to his growing up. Telmuk looked up to his brother. Yet though he knew his brother cared, it often felt that Rayek viewed him and his sister as more of an annoying obligation.

He missed his brother terribly as a teen while his brother went away to Military College and then served his 5 years in the Romulan Star Navy. This was a time of huge change with the family as their father was elected Proconsul and they moved into what Telmuk viewed as a bit of a mansion. Kemala was distracted with her relationship with Jaron Man'dak (link to PC bio) so Telmuk was often alone. As a result the previously shy and timid boy turned to his peers for the attention he was no longer getting at home.

Surprisingly he found it easy to fit in with the social groups around it. It was like he knew what people expected of him and as long as he played that role they would be his friend. Over time, roles reversed and it was he who was leading the pack "" the one that the girls swooned over "" and he gained a bit of a reputation of being a bit of a charmer with the teenage girls at his prep school and then women proper at Military College.

If he thought his brother would return home after his military service, he was wrong. If anything Rayek seemed more distant than ever. Though he wasn't supposed to know, Telmuk overheard his parents discussing the fact that Rayek had joined the Tal'Shiar. The policing organization was feared by most and Telmuk couldn't understand why his brother would had joined them "" he never did get the opportunity to ask.

Soon it was his time for his own military service and Telmuk got assigned to the Aehallh. He was in his 1st year of service when his mother contacted him to inform that both his father had gone missing. Then not long after another message saying that she couldn't reach his brother. Months passed while his mother searched for both while both he and Kemala were unable to help while still in service.

He was in the midst of making plans to request a shuttle during his next shoreleave to fly home and check on his mother when news of Hobus' explosion and the loss of the homeworld and Remus both was filtered through the Navy. Telmuk was devastated.

It took weeks to confirm that the ship Kemala was service as Centurion on hadn't been in the vicinity; but all indications were that their mother had been at home; their father and brother were assumed dead at this point.

With the seat of government lost. Chaos ruled the Empire for that first year "" it was during this time that he was approached by members of the Tal'Shiar who told him things about himself that he had never thought possible but were eventually proven true. He discovered that his ability to fit in well with others was a talent born of his family's telepathic ability. An ability that the Tal'Shiar wanted at their disposal "" and they didn't give him much of a choice in joining. He was either with them, or he was a threat to be eliminated. Deciding to join was an easy thing, and in the back of his mind he wondered if that's how Rayek was brought into the organization.

He was groomed to the Tal'Shiar's needs"¦ and though he didn't see it "" effectively brainwashed into believing the organizations goals.

Telmuk thought with his ability he would rise quickly through the ranks, but the one that had coerced him into

joining "" Erei'Riov Vandar "" keep him on a short leash the first few years until he'd "˜proven himself more loyal than his brother'. The man made it no secret that he didn't trust Telmuk "" likely because of some history between him and the elder tr'Lhoell sibling. It took Telmuk saving the man's life once on mission, for some of that distrust to thaw "" just a little.

Because of the nature of his undercover role, Telmuk remained officially as part of the Romulan military to the largest faction vying for control over the territory "" the Romulan Republic"¦ (or more recently renamed the Romulan Free State after their most recent amalgamation with the Deutus Alliance). His sister was also a part of the Free State. He sometimes felt a twinge of guilt at having to lie to her but knew she wouldn't understand his reasons. She hated the Tal'Shiar blaming them for the disappearance of her father and brother. When people went "˜missing' that was usually the safest bet.

After discovering that his brother was still alive and likely living as a refugee somewhere among the Federation, a sense of betrayal overwhelmed Telmuk. He didn't question his orders to find and kill the traitor. The kill was just another mission "" or so he kept telling himself that.

At intel from two separate sources confirming his brothers presence on a Federation outpost in the Gamma Quadrant, Telmuk began making plans to infiltrate a newly planned embassy to the outpost.

His alias (Rhienn tr'Hei) was a mild mannered ambassadorial aide. Once on the station, Telmuk would discover from the traitor what intelligence he had provided the Federation and then kill him as ordered.
