With a mix of veteran and new players among us, I though it would be helpful if I published our different roles and responsibilities.
For the most part, our primary 'job' is to execute a fun mission that involves all players. We run monthly missions that start on the first of the month and end on the last day of the month. I do require regular posting on the missions unless you are on LOA.
That said, most of our roles and responsibilities are mission based with the overall goal of creating a fun experience for everyone.
So, here are the roles and responsibilities:
Commanding Officer
Choose missions
Run missions
Moderate the board
Take issues to the admiralty
Submit promotions
Be available for players
Mediate disputes between players
Executive Officer
Choose missions
Help run missions
Moderate the boards
Mediate disputes between players
Recommend promotions
Be available for players
Take over as CO if needed
Second Officer
Help run missions
Moderate the boards
Department Head
Ensure that players in their department are active
Ship's Represenative
Take issues to the admiralty
All Players
Be active
Post on missions before you post anywhere else
Submit mission ideas
Provide feedback on missions
Think of new ideas during missions and clear with command staff
Welcome new players
Bring issues to command staff
Have fun!
