Amynta had opened her mouth to argue, but by the time she was able to form words, they were already in sickbay. "Oh. Well, that works too. And I'm Amynta Lianez, by the way. Nice to meet you?" She almost laughed at the sheer absurdity of not having introduced herself before all the things they had experienced in such a short amount of time. "Perhaps we should look as if we're working on the patient, since that's what the Romulans are expecting, I believe..Oh, and we should hide those Borg attachments."

"It's a pleasure." Alyssa said. "Here, I'll take the tricorder and begin scanning. The implants are on the tray. Hide them someplace even I wouldn't look." She rushed to the tricorder, opened it and began scanning.

The mood was tense in the sickbay. Any moment now, boss man was going to come in and see the mess they had left behind. She didn't have time to worry. She needed to act natural, but her nerves were on edge. "Computer, play some light jazz."

"Yes, Sir" Zex replied to the first command.  Her hand remain in the air above her had.  And she focused again on the enemy ship.

Her hand started to move again.  "Arching up and around.  Fleeing or..." she added, but did not complete the sentence.  She was unsure what the enemy ship was doing.

Then her right arm started to rise.  "Another ship.  It is heading toward us.  The first circling to attack" she added.

[Bridge]

It felt good to have lights back on, even if they were pale and cold. By at least she could see now. T'Ra followed the path of the Romulan Warbird as it danced around them, angling for a better spot. This did not alarm her; it was indeed to be expected. But when Zex cried out that a second Warbird approached, she immediately replied, "Fire a warning shot off the port bow."

[Sickbay]
Amynta didn't comment on the jazz, although she found that rather than soothing her nerves it only set her even more on edge with the sheer irony of playing smooth jazz at this moment. She wanted to scream, although that was about the least productive thing she could do. Instead, she snatched up the Borg implants, and looked around the room. It took her a moment, but she spotted somewhere to put them soon enough.

As she hid the implants in the bottom of a box of antibiotic medication specifically for human crew members with ear infections due to the artificial gravity, she took a deep breath, and returned a smile to her face. If there was ever a time to be as polite and cheerful as possible, this was it. She would be fine, even with a group of angry Romulans in the room, and none of them would think to look in a box in the back of a medical storage unit, under bottle after bottle of amoxicillin. She even went to the extra effort of spilling a few drops of one of the bottles onto the box, to make it even less appealing in case of a search.

"Taken care of, Doctor." She said quietly as she returned to the side of their patient with a damp cloth in hand. He looked terrible, even unconscious, with blood dripping conspicuously from the lack of implant on his forehead. She dabbed at it gently, trying to make sure that there wouldn't be even a single nanobot left on his skin when their visitors arrived.

T'Ra remained silent as the captain rattled off another slew of orders, analyzing and assessing the situation as it developed. The crew was doing well despite the brisk pace, though as usual, she was beginning to wonder if Hawke's plan was entirely wise. But before she could bring this up, Hawke jumped straight to opening a channel. Now was not the time to point out that Vulcans were very much capable of telling lies, or that she was only half Vulcan herself. In any case, there was no need for her to lie... just maybe stretch the truth a little.

"The Romulan agent currently on board is not expected to re-awake any time in the near future," T'Ra told the glowering figures on the main viewer. "He sustained extensive injuries before we were able to complete an emergency beam out to transport him to our sickbay, which was a miracle in itself given the numerous difficulties we have had with our computers of late."

Once Hawke closed the channel, T'Ra turned to him to add, "Perhaps you Á¢â,¬Ëœlaid the sugar on a little too thick'." A deadpan joke. Hopefully it would ease his discomfort a little at the prospect of what he was about to face. Though soon he was gone, with a couple officers in tow, leaving T'Ra in command of the conn. "Jaeger, hold our current position, and Zex... I want you to monitor the vitals of those who just left the bridge."

Ardy nodded and adjusted the pitch accordingly to the directions. The hull quivered slightly as the ship bumped into the rocks. Following the instructions she was given, Ardy sank the ship into a thick haze of nebulaic dust hidden between two very large asteroids. Shifting the ship in between the space between them. It was nearly impossible to see, but from whatever Zex was doing, the Romulans were right above them. On James's mark, Ardy shifted the ship to move it into position with a determined smirk on her face. "We're right on top of Á¢â,¬Ëœem! Ready for evasive maneuvers."

Shuttle Bay 1

Kira nodded at the captain before he made his way for the sickbay. "Aye, captain."

Kira sat down on some boxes not too far away from the ship. "Its quiet, too quiet." Kira thought, frowning and watching the shuttle closely. She looked down at the phaser, making sure it was set to the max stun level, then looked back up at the ship. She looked around the bay, taking note of any places she could get cover from and looked back at the shuttle.

'I have a bad feeling about this.' She thought.

With the last warning shot fired, things seemed to have changed.  Zex could sense it.  She stared to extend her hands away from her.

"The ships seem to be moving away.  Maybe circling us.  Or so it seems" she said.

[Sickbay]

After a couple of minutes, of walking towards Sickbay.  James and his Romulans guest entered the Sickbay area.  He observed the table in which the Romulan patient was laying there.

He led the team to the table and looked at the patient.  James then began explaining "I have been informed that our patient here, John Doe, had some borg nanites.  Because of our issues, I believe medical has been able to remove the nanites from the patient.  However, he is now in a comma." James

James then looked at the Medical Staff and said "Please give the Romulans a Copy of your Medical Charts"

James then continued explaining "As you can tell, he cannot be move, and he is in a comma., protocol dictates his transfer can only be done when he is medically cleared.  We are more than willing to accommodate the diplomatic channels for a transfer over"

Hawke then  looked at the Medical Staff and said "Is there anything more to add, Doctor?"

He waited for a couple of second and James offered "You are more than welcome to try and wake him"

James looked at the Romulan Officer as he tried to wake him up with a Hypospray as expected.  The individual did not wake and James gavea  sight of relief.

James then looked at the Captain and said "I think there is nothing else to do here, I suggest to contact everyone that there is nothing here to see or do"

He looked at Medical and said "Medical Carry on"

He then looked at Filitov and said "Get them off my ship, diplomatically of course."

He looked at the Romulan and said "If you excuse me, I am busy right now.  Take care Captain"

Katcha nodded, her face impassive.

"Da Keptin." She replied.

She then turned to the Romulans.

"If you vill follow me, I vill escort you to your ship." She said, meeting the Romulan Captain's gaze.

"Of course. Lead the way." The Romulan Captain replied.

Katcha nodded to the security officers who formed up behind the Romulans. She then led the party back to the shuttle bay.

Shuttle Bay

As the group entered the shuttle bay, Katcha stood to one side. she watched the Romulans like a hawk as they boarded their shuttle.

Minutes after the Romulans had boarded their shuttle, the boarding ramp raised and the shuttle flew out of the airlock. Once the shuttle had left, Katcha smiled and tapped her com-badge.

=/\= Filitov to ze Keptin. Ze Romulans have departed. =/\=

Katcha nodded to the security detail who promptly left. Katcha waited a few seconds before following them. She headed to the turbolift and up to the Bridge.

Katcha stepped out of the turbolift and went up to the XO.

"Ze Romulans have departed. I have informed ze Keptin." She reported.

T'Ra was not familiar with Zex's experience at firing, but evidently the ensign's shot had the desired effect, and the two Warbirds had assumed a quiet circling pattern. A taut silence fell upon the bridge, only to be broken when the doors swished aside to admit the new flight officer. "Noted, Lieutenant," T'Ra commented. "Keep an eye on the two Warbirds. Let me know if they make a move. Zex, please bring us down to a yellow alert."

K-5

K-5 made sure to guard the ship well, while Ardy fired in her place. She hoped she hadn't stepped across her bounds, but she was following orders. SHe wondered what Takur was doing.

Probably either sleeping or pissing himself from the red alert signals. She smiled to herself at that thought.
