Settling in [Kyle & Chris]

Kyle sat in his Ready Room. He was expecting a new transfer. They had been in need of a Flight Officer and Star Fleet had seen fit to send them a newly graduated ensign. As Kyle read over the young mans record, he saw that he was a distant relative to Tom Paris of the Voyager. And that Tom had spent some time teaching him to fly. Kyle had read some of the Voyagers reports and a few of them told of how Paris' flight skills had been the only thing that had saved them.

"Well. If he can fly half as good as Tom, we'll be lucky to have him." Kyle muttered. He stood and walked over to the replicator and gotten himself a glass of ice cold water. Going to watch the stars pass by out the window, he took a sip and waited for Ensign Paris to arrive.
