Roles and Responsibilities

Hello team,

It occurred to me that we have a lot of people new to Shadow Fleet on our base. SF is a unique website in that we roleplay much differently than most. We run monthly missions that require regular posting. Other sites, in my experience, are more like our holodecks or Arcade Boards.

So I think it would be fair and beneficial for me to spell out some of the responsibilities of each level of player:

Commanding Officer

Choose missions
Run missions
Moderate the board
Take issues to the admiralty
Submit promotions
Be available for players
Mediate disputes between players

Executive Officer

Choose missions
Help run missions
Moderate the boards
Mediate disputes between players
Recommend promotions
Be available for players
Take over as CO if needed

Second Officer

Help run missions
Moderate the boards

Department Head

Ensure that players in their department are active

Ship's Represenative
Take issues to the admiralty

All Players

Be active
Submit missions
Provide feedback on missions
Think of new ideas during missions and clear with command staff
Welcome new players
Bring issues to command staff
Have fun!
