Outside Holodeck One

Katheryn stopped just in front of the control panel trying to catch her breath as she waited for the one she called her best friend to arrive at their prearranged meeting time. It had been a while since she had gotten the chance to use the holodeck and usually used it for her exercise workout programmes but today was going to be completely different or she hoped it would be and who better to invite along than the man who she spent most of her downtime with just as friends and she wouldn't have it any other way despite how she felt inside.

Leaning slightly against the wall she looked up and down the corridor as she began to calm down after thinking she was late but in fact was more than likely too early like she always was and absentmindedly ran her hand down to smooth her hair. At the same time wondering if she had chosen the right clothes but slowly realized she was worrying for nothing as usual and returned to waiting.

After what seemed like weeks of her hinting Black had finally given in and agreed to meet Katheryn for a holodeck session while they were of duty, he didn't really have much time for the holodecks unless it involved racing old cars or motorcycles.

As he rounded the corner he saw her standing against the wall, looking even more beautiful than she did in uniform.remember the Prime directive Blacky he said silently in his mind as he approached her.

"OK Casey, you've got me here, so what's so special about this program"? He asked as he smiled at her andleaned against the wall.

She had been that deep in her own thoughts that she hadn't heard him approach until the sound of his voice brought her back to reality and almost caused her heart to miss a beat. "Calm down Kat act natural" she thought to herself although that was proving difficult when she noticed what he was wearing and after a few seconds realized that she hadn't spoken yet. " Just you wait and you'll soon find out " she replied grinning at him not wanting to spoil the surprise. Focusing long enough to enter the programme into the control panel before standing back as the doors opened to reveal the beginning of the programme she had chosen.
