I'm a dad with a daughter, and a Star Wars fan. I cannot think of a more positive role model for my little girl than Princess Leia. Despite being royalty and a politician, she remains grounded, strong, and moral. And beautiful. What else can we hope for for our daughters?

A fan has started a petition to make Princess Leia an official Disney princess. With not even 24 hours on the books, as of this time it has over 50k supporters.

I would like for you all to read over the Change.org petition and consider adding your names to it, for all of us daddies, dorks, and daughters out there.
