Today all of fandom and entertainment has lost a cultural icon. Carrie Fisher, best known as Princess Leia, has died at 60.

You can read about it here.

I just watched the entire original trilogy over the weekend and The Force Awakens, too. I'm glad I did.

RIP, Carrie.  :'(

My first memory of her on screen was as the stood-up bride in The Blues Brothers. She will be missed dearly
