Born on December 17, 2359 on the S.S. Wright , Thomas lived in a freighter for most of his life.  He experienced multiple cultures and destinations as his family specialized in passenger transports.   Since Childhood, Thomas had an affinity for flight and interstellar travel. As a boy he saw firsthand the wonders and terrors of space.

When he was 18 years old Thomas applied to Starfleet Academy.   He failed to gain admittance due to his low test scores.  Thomas parent's allowed him to take a year off from the family business to allow him to prepare for his studies at Earth.  There he met a Civilian Science student Anna, which helped him with his studies.  He then applied to Starfleet Academy and was barely admitted.

During his first year, Thomas struggled with the Academics portion, however with the help and tutoring of his girlfriend Anna he was able to pass.  At the Academy he showed high proficiencies in Flight, Tactical and Command.

When Thomas graduated Starfleet Academy, he was promoted to the rank and Ensign and assigned to Flight at the  U.S.S. Obsidian .  During his stay there he showed an affinity for piloting shuttlecrafts and ship.  He was recommended to join Starfleet Flight R&D.

In 2384, Thomas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Jg. and assigned to Starfleet R&D station in the Sol System as a test pilot for ships and shuttle crafts.  His Service records showed that he had a tendency of pushing the safety limits of the ship which resulted in several crashes.

In 2385 he married his sweetheart Anna and remained in the Sol System.

In 2386 he was promoted to the rank of full Lieutenant and continued serving as a test pilot for Starfleet.  The next year there was an incident in which a freighter lost power to the engines and was caught in the gravity well of a black hole.  In violation of direct order, Thomas took his shuttle with minimal computer systems and attached it to the freighter.  Using his velocity and engines was able to slingshot the freighter to safety.   He was given the Christopher Pike Medal of Honor.

In 2388, he was promoted to the rank of Lt. Commander and assigned as a Flight Instructor in Starfleet Academy.  They were several instances in which he risked his life in order to save students from mistakes and crashes and was given the Legion of Honor for his efforts.

In 2390, Thomas was promoted to Commander and was first Officer of U.S.S.  Valiant Á¢â,¬"œA a Prometheus class spaceship.  He left the Sol system and served with Distinction on Several missions earning him the Starfleet Medal of Valour.  Because he took a ship assignment his Wife, Anna also took an civilian position for Starfleet Science on a Research Vessel the U.S.S. Icarus which disappeared.

After the disappearance of his wife, Thomas wanted to return to their house in the Sol System.   He was promoted to the Rank of Captain and was one of the heads of Starfleet R&D Flight.  He remained Captain until he was Court Martial in 2392, which the proceedings of the Court Martial are kept secret due to the Top Secret and Confidential  nature of his work.  He was sentenced to 10 years of hard labor to the Federation Penal Settlement in New Zealand.

In the summer of 2394, he was granted a pardoned from the President of the United Federation of Planets on the condition that he would not divulge the incident.  For the last months he has been getting used to his life as a Civilian going to one of the farthest reaches of the Galaxy.
Currently, he is a freighter Captain with a small crew...
