Character Family: Father (Unknown), Mother (Deceased), Twenty registered brothers, Twelve registered Sisters (fates unknown), and Eight Offspring, three boys and five girls (Fates unknown)
Character Bio: Naga was originally a Gorn slave from the Mirror universe.  Due to her unusual coloration and spike/frill pattern, she was kept as an aesthetic (decorative) breeding slave by her old master, who had unusual tastes.  She never got to know her family back home, not any of her brothers, sisters, or even her own offspring.  The families weren't kept together.

Her Master was a noted physicist in the other universe, and it was after her master sold her children at only three months old that she used his Gate invention to escape to this universe, winding up on Deep Space 9.  She requested and was granted asylum, before being sent to Earth to tell Starfleet Command about everything she knew about the mirror universe.  Then, she joined Starfleet Academy, very interested in this universe and the many various ways it was different from the place she was born.  One thing that frustrates her is how humans, both here and in her original universe, always seem to think that Gorn are primitive, savage and stupid.  Her Master thought so, and so did most of the people she met at Starfleet.  She decided to prove them wrong, and entered into the scientific field.  She wound up actually liking it quite a bit, especially the field of biology.  She's a little nervous around humans, due to her past, but by now she has it mostly under control...  Just so long as they don't sneak up on her.  If you do, be careful, you could wind up being smacked by a powerful foreclaw or her tail.

Romance is a strange subject for Naga, having been a breeding slave, she can be adverse to intimate touch and relationships.  However, it's not something she's written off, and she rather likes that some species (Especially Caitians and Vulcans) have a higher body temperature.

Sample post:  Naga looked out the window of the shuttle as it took off, spikes and dorsal frills trembling slightly as they extended in excitement, her tail tightly wrapped around her leg to prevent accidents.  She was a bit hunched in her seat, it hadn't been built to Gorn specifications, but that was alright.  Her silvery, cat-slit eyes took in everything they could outside the ship, before glancing at her close seat-mates.  They seemed about as nervous to be sitting next to her as she was sitting next to them.  She stifled the urge to give them a nervous smile, Gorn in this universe were much more aggressive and frightening than in her own, and showing her rows of sharp teeth wouldn't really help allay their fears.  Instead, she kept her claws in her lap and looked back at the window, though this time she was inspecting her own reflection.  She was a very well-built Gorn, taller than the average two meters, with a sleek, triangular-shaped muzzle.  Her scales had an interesting coloration, dark green interspersed with lighter green, shading to turquoise, blue, and lavender on her throat and jawline, with a white underbelly.  She had some gold edging on her frills and spines, pulling together for a rather pretty picture.   For a reptilian species, that is.  She found herself clicking her declawed scythe-claw toe in her anxiousness and stopped herself; she really had to look into getting prosthetics for that.  The scythe-claw was severed early in life, but it still ached from time to time.

Additional information:  Very new to Star Trek fandom, but I am eager to learn!
