Character Bio: Mahak was born on the Vulcan colony world of Harmony. His father had dedicated himself to the sacred ritual of the Kolinhar. His mother was a proper and prim woman who wanted the best for her family and herself. They both urged Mahak to enter the Vulcan Science Academy. As stern as they were, neither parent protested when Mahak enrolled in Starfleet instead. They merely urged him to do his best and to help people. Though following a different path than most Vulcans, Mahak is wholly dedicated to logic, prayer, and traditional Vulcan pursuits. He finds humans slightly irritating but does recognize their best qualities, and the sometimes inflexible nature of his own people.

Mahak was reluctant to take part in the banter, but like many Vulcans he couldn't resist the urge to educate others.
"Rocky Marciano's first title bout was against Joseph Walcott in 1952." Mahak said tersely. "In the 13th round Marciano scored a surprise knockout after trailing the entire fight."
"Mahak!" Dagg said with delight. "Didn't know you were a fight fan."
There was nothing to say except, "You find that surprising, Mr. Dagg?"
"Don't you think it's a bit illogical and chaotic?" The human teased.
"On the contrary, calling boxing a science is apt. I find it very orderly and sporting." Mahak said.
"Learn something new every day." Dagg said. "What do you say we go a few rounds on the holodeck sometime?"
"That is agreeable." Mahak had been searching for a new workout routine anyway.
