Character Bio: Cottle was born on the main city of Denobula. He was born into the planet's population of thirteen billion, and grew up on the city learning medicine. His mother was an ambassador to Earth and his father was one of sixty husbands. His father was a government worker in the main city. Cottle spent time in between both planets, learning Earth history as well as his own planet's. He began a foray into the medical field about this time, becoming a doctor on Earth for ten years before joining Starfleet in 2370. He served through the Dominion war, serving on the front lines of the war through some of the most horrific events of the war, and growing both older and more disillusioned as time went on. He continued serving, after being unable to save some patients, grew rather dark and cold, a far flung call from his past and bouncy self. He has an outwardly abrasive demeanor, and being unimpressed by positions of authority. He has a softer side but it is hard to draw it out. To him, nothing matters around him except himself and the patient he is currently with, dispite their politics, status, or rank. He's known as a bit of a bastard among crews he's served with before, especially during the war.

Phaser blasts tore overhead, striking the rock and pulverizing it as the energy weapons unleashed their yeild. Thankfully, the blasts aimed for Klabax were blocked by the rocks, or the enemy's aim was horrendous. He scurried over to the prone figure, swathed in starfleet garb as the Dominion and Cardassian encampments continued their relentless pounding of the Federation lines. That didn't bother Cottle as he went over, pulling a man off the line and sitting him down. The man resisted, and Klabax spoke. "Dammit man, sit down. You're bleeding all over the place." he said, working with bandages, tricorders, and dermal regenerators to heal the man. "Now get back on the line." he said, pushing the man back. He called out for the next injury, knowing this would be a long night.
