Early life

Mulchano was born into the most devastating part of his planet's history, the Cardassian occupation. He grew up in the rebellion, casting aside his caste level like most forces and fighting alongside all walks of life. He went on various missions, ranging from sabotage to espionage to prisonbreaking. It was here that he had his first brush with mortality, on a mission to break a Cardassian prison camp, that he had to shoot and kill three Cardassians. That was his first time, but it wasn't his last. Over his career in the occupation, he racked up kills, never thinking back but only killing when he had to. He excelled in sneaking into places he shouldn't be, and could fit into spaces that seemed too cramped. This earned him the nickname "Snake" by one of his colleagues, Tipe Kremmaga. The nickname died with Kremmaga when he was vaporized by a Cardassian orbital strike on a command compound. He spent twenty years in the resistance, going on increasingly dangerous and deadly missions.

Mulchano was there when the Cardassians left, and immediately transferred from Outlaw to Official, joining the ranks of the Bajoran Militia as a Ensign, and later worked his way up to Captain. He served in the Militia for fifteen years, as both a commander of a small detachment and an Engineer, where he found his love for the stars. When Bajor joined the Federation, the Bajoran militia was shrunk, with most of the military and security provided by Starfleet. He eventually followed many of his comerades and enlisted in Starfleet.

Starfleet career
Mulchano was a floater, not being the youth of some enlisted persons but having the seniority of some officers. He joined Starfleet as a Petty Officer, Second Class and worked his way up to Senior Chief Petty Officer. With his experiance, he was often the senior enlisted person on the ship. He doesn't like Cardassians that much, and spends lots of his time off duty in Phaser training, which is a hobby usually saved for Security men. He practices and gets good scores at level 15.

His specialty is warp fields, and other forms of propulsion but he has training in almost all Engineering duties on a Federation starship. He has served in Starfleet since 2384.
