Season 5, Mission 06: Dawn, Part II

"All weapons return fire!"   shouted Kawolsky

*As soon as she had emerged from the portal, the Discovery had come under intense fire by Sal'Tek forces. The Nubarri had entered shortly after, but, even together, they were outnumbered two to one.*

"Helm, evasive maneuvers!"

Alan threw the discovery under the main battle, and the fire they recieved was reduced. Alan then brought the ship closer to one of the larger nubarri craft, using it as a shield.

" We wont last long out here captain, this is a fight for the big boys, were out of our depth here! "

"Shields are at 40%, heavy damage to our generators." Shelaf said.

Scott stood at the science console with lee, he was monitoring the battle, but something else caught his eye, a rather strange planetery body.

" Captain, you might want to take a look at this! "

"What is it?"  Kawolsky asked, scrambling to his feet

" This planetery body, its almost completely mechanical in nature, and its twice the size of earth. Im getting some weird readings, they match the records from the enterprise D and their discovery of the iconian gateways.
The Sal'tek are after the gateway technology. "

*Before he could finish his sentence, Kawolsky was drowned by the sound of weapons fire against the hull of the ship*

"Commander, you up for another away mission?"

"Um, shields at 20% if anyone cares." Shelaf said.

*Before he could finish his sentence, Kawolsky was drowned by the sound of weapons fire against the hull of the ship*

"Commander, you up for another away mission?"

Scott looked back at the captain.

" Well im dressed for the occasion. Although i'll take down a smaller team this time sir, dont want to put too many men at risk "

"You'll have to take the shuttlecraft again. We can't risk using the transporters"

" Chief, your with me. Major ransom, Sergeant abraham, lieutenant Brack , private mirlwald and lieutenant harris, report to shuttle bay one. "
