Character Bio:The Son of both a Romulan Senator and the Son of of Romulan Commander Martal was born into a world of wealth and privilage. His Father was a member of the Romulan Senate, his mother the Commander of a D'DERIDEX class warbird. Due to his parents work he spent much of his early life under the care of the family's head servant, despite this Martal always considered himself loved and never neglected by either parents.

Martal's initial schooling was done at home and dealt with basic Gramar and Mathmatics along with the basic tenants of Mnhei'sahe, the rulling pasion that dictates almost every aspect of Romulan life. At age 12 he entered the Romulan Youth Academy, a sort of millitary like school for young romulans of noble stature, by the age of 16 he gained admitance to the Romulan naval academy, it was shortly after this that he's life started to take a turn.

Martals father who had for a long time secretly felt that the Tal'Shair had grown too powerfull. In an impassioned speach before the Senate his Father called the dissolvement of the orginazation and a new intellegence aggency to be built in its place. Almost imediatly agents of the Tal'Shair tried to prsuade Martal's father to chage his mind, to make there point they sent a group of agents to Martal's school to beat Martal. The beating nearly had the desired effect as Martal's father decided to recant his position.However despirte his beating Martal told his father if he did recant he would walk into the halls off the senate and plunge his own honor blade into his heart, His father then went back to the senate where he told what had happend. The next day his body was found the offical record of honorable suciside. Martal's father had there head slave make preperation to smuggle Martal and his mother(who had been forced to retire from active duty due to injurys she gained durring the Dommion war) out of Romulan territory and into the federation. Shortly after entering federation space his mother ask for and was granted asylum of earth, a year latter Martal gained admitance in to Starfleet academy.

"Coffee black with two sugars" He said walking over to the replicator as he was still making his order, Coffee was a habit he had picked up since he had moved to earth, picking up the cup his sipped the hot beverage as he looked over the PADD that Lt Haven had given him, the PADD was a list of names of those who were marksmen level shots, one name stood out to Martal, Lt jg Tavmeer Timbre. He frowned abit as he looked at the name, he and the Half Caitain had not started off on the right foot, was an understatement. Martal thought it was time to as the humans say..bury the hatchet...humans have such strange saying. He taped his commbadge. "Lt. Timbre, this is Ensign Martal. I would like to meet with you, at your convenience?"

Congratulations, you have been selected for the Commissioned career track. We are delighted to assign you as a Security/Tactical Cadet on the USS Gibson.

As explained in the guidance notes, applicants to Shadow Fleet have the choice of the Enlisted or Commissioned career track. You have selected to join as a Cadet and as such you will be required to learn thoroughly about your chosen field. You will begin as Cadet 1st Class and upon reaching a post count of 50, you will be eligible for promotion to Cadet 2nd Class and awarded your own signature ID card like mine below. Please bare in mind, that if at any point you feel that you no longer would like to go through with the Commissioning program, you will be allowed to join the enlisted career.
