Lee looked over at the tactical station, where he saw a young crewman.

" The commander is on the Atlantis, i have the freighter in a tractor beam sir. "

"Understood. Beam a security team over and apprehend the crew. The brig won't be big enough...use crew quarters and erect level 5 forcefields. I'll deal with them later"

Kawolsky out

*Kawolsky looked down at Shelaf*

"I know this is a difficult moment, but I need everyone at their stations, right now. The medical staff will take care of her"  he said

Lee nodded to the security crewman, who began transporting security crewmen. Lee moved back to his station, and looked at the sensors. He stood next to the young crewman

" That's funny, When did those background ionisation signatures start flaring up? "

She spoke with a soft voice.

I hadn't noticed sir, with all the interference from the nebula, its hard to see anything out there.

" I know, keep tabs on them.

Lee nodded to the security crewman, who began transporting security crewmen. Lee moved back to his station, and looked at the sensors. He stood next to the young crewman

As the repairs continued to the Atlantis, Scott was going over the sensor logs. He noticed the signatures. he turned to his science officer.

" Ensign Hoshi, when did those readings appear? "

They started flaring up in the past hour or so, it looks like normal nebula behaviour

Scott rubbed his chin, noting his stubble was continuing to grow. He suddenly jolted upright, and spoke to Hoshi.

" Get kawolsky on the line now! "

" Commander Bradley would like to speak to you sir. "

"I don't see any ships on sensors, Commander"  he replied

*Kawolsky paced around the rear of the bridge in thought*

"Go to red alert. Recall all of the shuttles from the planet and raise shields"

*Kawolsky nodded to the reserve tactical crewman*

" We have to leave sir. We're in no shape for a fight. Beam the minsiters aboard and lets get out of here right now! "

" Oh my god. We've got no time sir, The rebels are here. Im picking up twelve keldon class ships, and fifteen squadrons of fighters.

*The tactical console in front of Kawolsky beeped furiously*

"All hands to battlestations! Raise shields, ready all weapons. Open a channel to Major Ransom"

*Within seconds, Ransom's voice was over the comm system*

"Major, we've detected a fleet of Rebel ships closing in on this position. We'll try and-"

*The transmission was cut. The crewman at tactical shouted out*

"They're jamming our transmissions, sir!"

*Kawolsky's face turned to horror*

"Remodulate the carrier wave and try again! We have to get them out of there!!!"

"All hands to battlestations! Raise shields, ready all weapons. Open a channel to Major Ransom"

*Within seconds, Ransom's voice was over the comm system*

"Major, we've detected a fleet of Rebel ships closing in on this position. We'll try and-"

*The transmission was cut. The crewman at tactical shouted out*

Scott bagned his fist on the nearby rail. The channel was still open.

" Sir, we have to escort the civilians in orbit to safety. They outnumber and outgun us. We cant stay here. "

*Kawolsky paused for a moment, to consider the decision he was about to make. Did he stay and fight a hopeless battle, or flee and leave countless numbers of people on the planet?*

"Any luck, Crewman?"

"No, sir. They're still jamming our transmissions to the planet"  he replied

*Kawolsky paced up and down the deck once again, before coming to a standstill in front of the Ops console*

"Alright...set course to leave the system. As soon as we clear the nebula, engage at maximum warp."

*Kawolsky paused for a moment, to consider the decision he was about to make. Did he stay and fight a hopeless battle, or flee and leave countless numbers of people on the planet?*

"Any luck, Crewman?"

"No, sir. They're still jamming our transmissions to the planet"  he replied

*Kawolsky paced up and down the deck once again, before coming to a standstill in front of the Ops console*

"Alright...set course to leave the system. As soon as we clear the nebula, engage at maximum warp."

Scott looked around his bridge, his science officer nodded to him, indicating they had half of the minsiters on board. He looked on the viewscreen, and fouces on the planet.

" We'll be back.

Get us out of here. "

What was left of the convoy began to move of at impulse, before jumping to warp, leaving the planet in the hands of the rebels.
