Alan touched the engage button, the ship leaped into warp.

*The Discovery jumped to warp and escaped the system. As soon as it was clear of the range of the blast, Kawolsky ordered a full stop*

"Alright, that should do it. Helm, full stop"

*He turned to Armstrong*

"Your on, Lieutenant!"

Lee began running the intense long range scans, they gathered terabytes of information, all beuing stored in teh discovers main computer. It suddenly struck lee that they were the first ship to witness this event.

" Its happening sir, its beautiful, putting it on screen. "

the image of the star collapsing appeared on the screen.

*Kawolsky was taken aback by the beautiful sight of the two stars collapsing in on each other*

"Beautiful"  he whispered to himself

*He turned to face the bridge crew*

"It's times like this that remind me why I joined Starfleet. Congratulations everyone!"

"You know what? Starfleet isn't expecting us for another two days..."

*Kawolsky walked back to his chair and seated himself*

Alan took a moment to think to himself

" I here the springs on locken 3 are excellent this time of year, only 6 light years away.  engaging sir. "

The discovery flipped around and lept into warp.

Well done, that is the end of that mission. I know it was a short one, but it was just intended to be a break from the regular combat orientated missions. Hope you enjoyed it!
