HELP TOPIC: Warp Factor Calculations

Shadow Fleet strives to be as accurate as possible in all technical details (as mentioned in canon) and this includes warp factor speed and distance calculations.

Luckily there is a handy calculator that does all of the tiresome maths for you. Simply click on the following link and select either the The Original Series scale (for SIMMs set during The Original Series timeline) or The Next Generation scale (for any time period after).

You should be particularly aware of using the correct information if you are a flight control officer, as constant and silly mistakes could hinder your chances for advancement within the SIMM, after all it's your job to know warp speeds!
