Dylan was born to a human officer of the New Terran Empire and a prostitute. His mother suspiciously fell out of an airlock six days afterwards, and Dylan was raised by a single parent. His father taught him the ways of the world, from Engineering to how best to stay alive. He also learned the tricks and traps he used, as well as how to kill and get away with it. His first assignment was to kill his father's captain, a feat to test John's son. He succeeded, killing four bodyguards and the Captain, promoting John to Lieutenant Commander via line of succession. From that first taste, Dylan fell in love with killing. He killed for both personal reasons and to protect himself, growing cruller and more dangerous each time. He developed an affinity for pain, and inflicted it on people when they displeased him.

His father was assasinated by a subordinate when Dylan was fourteen. By this point Dylan had left his father, and it was suspected that he himself could possibly have been behind it. Dylan never let on yeah or nay, but has called his father weak in the past, citing the mantra of "The weak will perish". He lived through the rebuilding of the Imperial fleet, in secret as a courier for some of the admiralty of the Terran Forces, proving himself a reliable off-the-books operative. He himself was there at the christening of the ISS Enterprise, NCC-1701-E. With this flagship back in action, the Terran empire seemed invincible. World after world fell and yeilded to the terran advance, and with each victory came new technology. Eventually, Dylan went fleetside in one of the new Defiant class vessels, after plans stolen a long time ago from the "Mirror Universe's" computers after being on the old, aging Miranda Class Warship, ISS Neptune. Shortly after his departure from the ship, all the crew were killed in an apparent warp core breach, wiping out any secrets that he had given up or had discovered about him. His mystery and knack for picking up what he's not supposed to has kept him alive thus far, with Dylan's sights on higher and loftier goals in the empire.

Early life
Bran Maddux despised the corrupt Empire he had grown up in. Drafted at a young age, he took the first opportunity to escape and join the Rebellion. He constantly travelled, always just steps away from death or worse, capture. Jalera was a Betazoid, and highly outspoken against the Empire, much to the dismay of her rich influential family. Bran foiled an assassination attempt against the beautiful Betazoid, and they soon fell in love. Catrin was born shipside, while on the run from both the Empire and bounty hunters sent by Jalera's parents to bring her back. Unfortunately Bran and Jalera's luck ran out, and both were killed in a fire fight with a Romulan bounty hunter who then sold infant Catrin back to her grandparents.

Catrin, or Kitty as she became known, grew up sheltered and spoiled. She knew nothing of the plight against the Empire, or even her own parents. Her grandmother, Anterra convinced Kitty that her only talents were in entertainment so she would catch the eye of a rich powerful man to marry, something Anterra had done in her youth and wanted for Jalera. Kitty had gained some popularity, but while travelling between performances, her craft had been intercepted by the Empire, searching for rebel spies. She was then impressed into service to the Empire by the crew of the ISS Athena.

Stafford was born in the meanest slums of the Terran Empire continent of North America. He never knew his father, and his mother had died giving birth to him. Instead, he was raised by who he was told was his maternal uncle. The pair traveled the big cities of the Terran Empire, one because he was already on the run and the other to avoid the draft as he got older. They swindled older, richer Terrans out of their life savings using any means possible. They weren't above resorting to robbery or intimidation as the uncle grew weaker and the mean, violent young man grew up. Finally, their career was cut short when they were apprehended after a scheme to bilk dilithium from the Empire came to light. His uncle was executed before being arrested, and only after it was revealed that his father Turner headed up Starfleet Intelligence that the young man was spared. He was drafted by Starfleet and ordered to go through the training and remain out of trouble.

The first proved easy enough, the second was impossible.

Early life

Born in a slave camp on Sigma V to two Betazoids who were killed in an accident not long afterward. Susan, as she was called by leader of the work crew she was with, grew up learning how harsh the Empire was on anyone who was not human. Their overseers were particularly harsh on Betazoids due to their telepathic and empathic abilities. She grew up quickly and from about the age of 6 was working a 12 hour day in the mines. Despite the harsh conditions, the mental discipline she had been taught by a Vulcan on her crew, enabled her to survive. When she was 15, there was a revolt of slaves. It was brutally suppressed and all those who survived were tortured for information. Even though her participation had been next to non-existent, she was questioned for days without rest by Terran Intelligence. On the fifth day she snapped and released a bolt of psychic energy that killed all in the room and was felt by everyone in the compound. The head of the interrogation team then came in and, impressed by what the girl had done, offered her a choice. Join his interrogation team and assist him in breaking suspects or be executed. Suzie, ever the survivor, chose the former. Over the next 10 years she was educated, inducted into Terran Intelligence and put through a brutal training regime to become an interrogator. In order to save her own sanity at the brutal things she was being forced to do, she started practicing an extreme form of emotional suppression. It was similar to the Vulcan Koli Nhar rituals. She became known as an ice queen as nothing, no matter how violent or depraved, ever disrupted the eerie order of calm that surrounded her. This caused her rapid promotion and to her being requested by numerous fleet Captains to help keep their crews in line.

Intelligence career

Recruited from a slave camp at 15, she was immediately transferred to an Intelligence training facility on an isolated space station deep in the Beta Quadrant. Although she had to almost begin her education from scratch, she managed to not only pass the course, but to excel. Despite the daily xenophobic taunts of her fellow pupils and random beatings from the instructors, she learned everything they had to teach her. Upon graduation, she was moved to an interrogator training facility on Andoria. It was here that she earned her reputation for being ice cold and for being able to break even the strongest of subjects. She graduated top of her class and was assigned to one of the Terran super-max prisons as an assistant interrogator. She soon proved herself and was promoted to Lieutenant. Due to her ability to get results quickly, she was soon in great demand and this earned her promotion to Captain. Over the next few years, she had an uninterrupted stream of success. So much so that her superior, feared for his life. Though Venator, as she was now known, seemed to have no interest in taking charge of anything outside her interrogation chamber. One day she was summoned to the Emperors' palace and, along with General Franks who was the head of Terran Intelligence, was tasked with discovering a traitor in the household staff. After weeks of interrogation, the traitor was identified and both officers were honored with promotion. Venator, now a Major, was assigned to the highest levels of interrogation in the Empire. However, a particularly politically connected Captain in the fleet, a cyborg by the name of Lafayette, requested a high level interrogator. Since she was still looked down on by most of her peers, Venator was selected and assigned to ISS Athena.

Early life

Her mother, T'Veri, and her immediate family used to belong to a minor resistance faction until the ISS Hephaestus, headed by Captain Daniels, managed to squash the rebellion and collar every Vulcan for their crimes against the Empire. The S'chrya clan were quickly put into slavery under the Reyes' family, who were staunch supporters and benefactors to the Terran Empire. Her father took her mother as a slave and their unholy union created an unwanted child. Before Kali could be sent to a laboratory for experimentation, her mother escaped with her and hopped from freighter to freighter for many years until they were picked up by pirates at the age of 17.

Her mother was killed begging for mercy and Kali was dragged away for the bounty her father put on her head. To save herself, Kali swore to denounce her mother's legacy and follow her father's when his last heir was killed in battle.

Starfleet career

In a rare display of kindness, she was sent into subjugation training and onto Starfleet once she proved her loyalty to the Empire.

Because of her prior record as a slave, she was passed around from ship to ship as the Captain's woman before receiving any sort of formal rank. It didn't last long - the chain of command on each ship quickly unraveled, but they could never pin her as the culprit. Jealousy between officers, briberies, shaken loyalties, and every single Captain she literally worked under died within weeks. Her current Captain remedied the problem by dislodging the power base of the enlisted loyal to her and made her Warrant Officer of the USS Interceptor and then Chief of Operations.

That's a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off.

Early life

T'Lara was born to Christopher Fletcher and T'Rena on the 21st of October, 2361 on Earth in San Francisco, California. Christopher saw T'Rena as nothing more than a pretty face, since she was a Vulcan and shouldn't be treated as anything more than that. But the combination of a few too many drinks and the fact that T'Rena was experiencing her very first pon farr at the time resulted in T'Lara's existence. T'Rena went back to Vulcan to bear her child and raise her in seclusion near the Forge. As T'Lara grew up she was criticized by the Vulcan people for being what she was, the offspring of a human. Her mother refused to tell her, because of the shame she felt. She was educated at home until she was old enough to attend the Vulcan Science Academy where she received high marks, but was never recognized for her accomplishments because of her 'disadvantage' of having a human father. When T'Lara was thirty her mother married an unbonded Vulcan male and she conceived a son, but both mother and child died in childbirth. T'Lara's stepfather fostered great resentment towards her since she was half human and had survived, while both her mother and her full Vulcan stillborn brother had perished. She separated herself from him, feeling lonely and angry that she had even been born.

Many months later she received an unexpected communication from her father, saying he needed her help. He believed that having a Vulcan around would be a valuable asset to the Terran Imperial Fleet, and would she agree to serve on his ship? There was one catch: she had to swear her loyalty. T'Lara agreed and she served on the ISS Dauntless under Christopher Fletcher providing information where she could. Which wasn't much, but it was better than nothing. T'Lara quickly realized that her real father didn't tolerate her much more than her stepfather had. In fact, once he thought he had gotten all the information he needed he saw that she was transferred to another ship, which happened to be the ISS Athena. There she continued to be treated like the alien she was.

History

Born in Bristol to a powerful Military family, James was brought up from a young age to serve the empire. His father was a Major in the Imperial Marines and his mother was an Inspector in the Imperial State Police. His grandfather was a Vice Admiral in the Imperial Starfleet and managed to climb his way to the Emperor's court where he gained great power and influence.

James joined the Imperial Youth organisation at 12 where he became skilled at shooting and had a good understanding of Military tactics. When the Empire fell, James and his family went underground and joined the Terran Resistance where he was assigned as a Tactical Cadet on board the ISS Victory at the age of 16, the resistances flagship.

When James was 16, his father was discovered by his mother to have sold information to the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. When she refused to join her, he attacked her and James stumbled across the fight end ended up killing his traitorous father. Later, the safe house where James' mother and younger brother was staying was destroyed and they were both killed.

When he was 19, James was promoted to Sublieutenant and assigned to the ISS Athena as a Tactical Officer where he proved himself numerous times in battle. Soon the Resistance was getting desperate and they recommissioned a number of older vessels that had been mothballed. The ISS Tempest was one of them and James was promoted to Lieutenant and made Chief Tactical Officer.

Once the Empire was formally reestablished James was assigned back to the ISS Victory as Chief Tactical Officer. As the war between the Empire and Alliance dragged on, James assassinated the Strategic Operations Officer of the Starbase Bastion and replaced him.

Recently, James was assigned to the ISS Interceptor as the Chief Tactical Officer and Second Officer in its highly dangerous and critical missions

History

Kyan was born sometime in the early 1960s on the planet now known as Planet 1725. This is a quarantined world, made so by the Terran Empire in the 2260s. According to then Captain Tiberius of the ISS Enterprise, it is a dead planet who's inhabitants died from nuclear wars sometime prior to the 21st century. Of course this was not the case. Much like his counterpart in the Prime Universe, Tiberius happened upon this planet and discovered it's nigh immortal denizens, clinging to life like rats. He brought thirty of them aboard the ship and back to the empire. The thirty "Onlies" as they called themselves were trained in the arts of assassination and espionage, to be used by Tiberius as he climbed the rungs of power in the Empire. His plan was successful due in large part to his unknown clan of ageless assassin children.

Of course Tiberius is long dead, but many of his little wet workers live still, and still perform work for the Empire. Kyan is among them. Officially, he doesn't exist. But he has existed many times over as the son of some high ranking official catching a ride home on a starship,or a refugee from a border world, or a random child that just so happens to be in the area whenever someone's enemy turns up dead. And then he returns to the shadows, until such a time as his skills are needed again.

It's all a game to him and his friends. Just a big foolie where they play a big joke on the Grups and see if they can get away. But Kyan is aware that as the years pass, some of his friends don't come back from the foolies. Sometimes he thinks about just blending in to the surroundings and not coming back himself. But he hasn't yet.

And now the high up grups have made another foolie for him to play. This one takes him to the Starship Interceptor. According to the boss grups, someone there is in need of a good joke. And Kyan always delivers the best punch lines.

Early life

LT grew up in slums of Edinburgh. His life was a hard one. He learned to be cunning and have a silver tongue to get things he needed. He also worked on his hand-to-hand combat skills in those mean streets and was handy with knives, phasers, and other sorts of weapons. He happened to hop a shuttle to the space station orbiting where he made his way to the stars to help claim even more for the Terran Empire. He gained his skills for piloting by running shuttles around the moon and within the Sol System. When the Athena was commissioned, he got his way on board by using his looks and silver tongue.

LT began his career on the Athena. His first mission was shuttling assault forces back and forth to Epsilon Indi. He showed off his skill and ingenuity by getting the locals trapped into an ambush. After that first mission, he earned his promotion to ensign by killing his OIC Ser Conley. It was actually a quick and easy takeover. He was a little disappointed with how quick it was. The next mission brought about a bit of a challenge. He had to successfully navigate through the blood vessels of a sentient planet to implant a bomb. He barely escaped in time. He earned his promotion to lieutenant by killing his second OIC in T'Vor. The following mission provided a slightly easier one. The only thing he had to do was keep them in range of an ancient Constitution-class vessel that was spouting on about logic and peaceful means. The Athena crew fought not only ship-to-ship, but hand-to-hand.

Early life

Born into one of the highest circles of Imperial Society, Elizabeth or Eliza as she prefers to be known, was destined to marry another member of the ruling class and take her place in the Court. This however did not happen. An insatiably curious child, Eliza was always testing things to see how they worked. She would cut up cats and dogs, rats and mice, and any other small animal she could get her hands on. She also had a fascination with Chemistry, especially making things explode. The combination of these two led to a serious accident. Trying to work out how she could hide a bomb inside a cat, the explosive detonated early, causing severe facial and psychological trauma. Although she was mostly healed, none of the perspective suitors paid her any attention after that. Since they valued physical perfection above anything. Disgusted at both her circles and Parents subsequent neglect, Eliza applied her high intellect to what interested her, how living things worked. She joined the Imperial Youth at 9 and was soon organising rallies and pointing out traitors. Encouraged in secret by her Mother, who was herself a prominent Doctor, Eliza attended Medical school where she excelled. When she graduated, she looked around for something to do. Still shunned by the court circles, and with the collapse of the Empire, Eliza fled with many others  and joined the Resistance.

Imperial Fleet career

Appointed Sub Lieutenant with the Resistance fleet, she was assigned to the ISS Kirk as Medical Officer. She soon proved to be an excellent Doctor with a good sideline in interrogation. She was soon promoted full Lieutenant and assigned to the ISS Indefatigable as Chief Medical Officer. She was then assigned to ground forces and was decorated not for her courage but for her many successful interrogations and the myriad of useful information she obtained. Due to the escalation of the conflict, Eliza was moved from ship to ship, interrogating and healing. In that order. Upon the re-establishment of the Empire, she was Promoted to Lieutenant Commander. She was then assigned to ISS Tomahawk for resumption of hostilities. After six months there she was recalled due to her reputation. She was then assigned to Imperial Special Operations. Being assigned wherever she was required at short notice. With no family or close ties, she was perfect for this assignment. After several years helping to subdue the enemies of the Imperium, she was requested by an politically connected Captain to be assigned to the ISS Interceptor.

Early Life:
Nevir was born towards the end of the Terran Occupation of Bajor, under very harsh conditions.  His parents, both being freedom fighters, found themselves an integral part of the Resistance, so much so that even with a new child, they were still in on missions.  As a result, Nevir never got the nurturing that most Bajoran did before the war, himself now part of a new generation that all but ignores the ancient Bajoran ideals.  With the eventual overthrow of the Terrans by the Alliance, Bajor was free, and a young Nevir got his first taste of freedom.  He absolutely loved it, and held within him a hatred of what the Bajorans called the "ridge-less".

Military Career:
As soon as he was able to, Nevir signed up for the Bajoran military forces, and joined the Alliance formally.  While his initial combat training found him lacking as a soldier, he found pretty late that he had a natural affinity for science.  Science of a non-military nature was rare and considered less than ideal, but Nevir found a use for what he enjoyed most... chemistry and minerals.  After his first accident destroying a small geology lab, Nevir was transferred to the Special Tactics unit of the Alliance military, and slowly rose through the ranks as an operative, specializing in natural assaults, torture, and assassination.  Finally, Nevir found himself a comfortable job on Bajor, having served his time on the front lines.  He even found himself with a concubine Trill, who would end up falling in love with him, and demonstrating her affinity for his craft.

Even with the rebellion of the Terrans causing a disgrace to the Bajoran intendant, Nevir held himself out with the Bajoran Alliance, refusing to give into the humans' Rebellion.  Not even after a failed coup of the Bajoran caused a rift between relation, did Nevir question his loyalties.  He was a man of the Alliance through and through, finding more comfort with Klingons and Cardassians than sometimes his own people.

The Second Occupation:
Much to his horror, Nevir watched as his home fell, planet by planet, until even Bajor's skies were once again filled with the invasion fleet of the Terran Empire.  With the disgrace of the Intendant, the Alliance withdrew in the face of an onslaught of these new Defiant-class ships.  Nevir went underground, just as his parents did before him, once again forming the Resistance.  His people were subjugated, an echo of the past, only this time, Bajor was on its own.  No help from the Alliance.

If Bajor was going to break from this second Occupation, it would have to be from the inside, and on their own.  Nevir had difficult choices to make... how far would he be willing to go to free Bajor?
